We stayed for just 1 night. The room was on the ground floor and it was big and air conditioned, old fashioned. However, the place was a bit dusty and the breakfast was very limited menu. Staff was friendly.

Old bunglow turned inn.. very good interiors, old furniture but in good shape, has garden and located on main road near two metro stations. Very good place for getaway with family or as a couple. Leisure stay. No swimming pool. Food good. Service not exceptional but good.

I stayed in Delhi prior to my trip to Jaipur and picked this hotel as it was located further out and near Old Delhi. Although the location did not suit me personally, the stay was still pretty good. The room was nothing special because the room i booked was already taken due to an error. So, i ended up with...

Probably the best option as a home away from home if you need to be in Delhi. Excellent amenities and great home-cooked food with discerning staff members make this place a gem for family travellers. My 73-year old mother was delighted to walk around the garden and feel at home. Very comfortable and regal place with artful decors and blend...

Although appointed as Bread & Breakfast stay, however i have stayed at the property several times especially when i had work in and around Central Delhi. I can vouch for the comfort, services, highly amicable attitude of the Owner, Manger & the staff that surely makes you feel... Home Away From Home. The Royal Bungalow gives you majestic feelings around...

We booked the suite looking at the pictures and reviews on TA.. it was a horrible experience: 1. It's a cheap b&b with highly unprofessional staff 2. room not ready at 6 pm though we had told them that we will check in at 3 pm 3. suite was shabby,it seemed like the owner's spare room, half used cosmetics and...

This place was a God send for me and family. Daughters were studying in DU North Campus and this location was just amazing. Yes this is truly a Heritage Inn. Staff are so warm and helpful. Stayed here many times and will definitely continue to use this place. Very cosy place with a cook to make your favorite dishes. The...

For the end of my 3rd trip to India and 3rd stay in Delhi, I thought it would be interesting and different to stay at a homestay. Heritage Inn was recommended as one of India’s best by an article in the Guardian Weekly – so I booked. There is much to recommend about this homestay: the building has lots of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to "Heritage Inn". Located in Old Delhi, 24 Alipore Road Shamnath Marg, an opulent abode overlooking the busy streets of Delhi Vidhaan Sabha conceals India’s heritage behind its two and half foot thick wall.Once home to the Maharajah of Sirohi, this elaborate address now belongs to Mr. Ashok Sahdev. A veteran businessman now metamorphosed into someone with a penchant for interiors. His aesthetic sense has made this home a sure artist’s delight. Indulge yourself with some of the finest antiques, paintings which showcase India’s diverse culture and grandeur and not to mention the feel of being ‘Royal’.          Just next to the famous Oberoi hotel, very well connected by ‘Delhi Metro’, 24 Alipore Road is surely a place for the one who is looking for a change from those busy and crowded 5 Star hotels ----- Here time stands still.  Don’t blame us if you step out as a pampered “Maharaja”. ... more   less
