My title speaks for itself. I booked here expecting a boutique hotel and got a high end guest house. Staff is very attentive and roof restaurant is quite nice. Room was small and had no window and bathroom was poorly lit but clean.

As a single women, travelling alone for the first time to India I was so pleased to spend my first night at this wonderful hotel. Set in the middle of a typical residential area- not smart but very Delhi, this hotel is an oasis of calm. Nothing was too much to ask of the staff- I mentioned that I had...

After reading rave reviews about this hotel we stayed there for couple of day in February 2012. However we did not find this hotel deserving excellent reviews by some readers. First the positives- the staff was very courteous and the room was clean. Now the negatives - the hotel is in a residential neighborhood. There is nothing around and not...

I have stayed at many worldwide chains and always got a special treatment as a Platinum member of their loyalty program. But I felt the care provided at Shanthi home was very authentic and impartial whether you we were a first time guest or a usual. Starting from the gate keeper to the Manager, they will do everything possible and...

I have stayed at the Shanti Home Hotel five different times. It is a terrific, small, boutique hotel. Their rooms are spotless, the service is impeccable, and the restaurant food is the best I have had in India. Though it is not located in the center of the city, its location has not been a problem for my sightseeing and...

We stayed at Shanti Home for 2 nights at the start of a trip and returned for another 2 nights before leaving India. We would not have returned if we hadn't loved it and, at the end of the 7 week holiday, it is still a stand out memory. The location is residential about 30+ minutes drive from city centre....

We spent two nights here, the first en route to Kathmandu, then the night before our return to UK. I only wish it could have been longer. Food at the Lantern Restaurant on the roof is sublime.WiFi access is free. They provide the nicest glycerine soaps in the bathrooms. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. On our return visit...

After spending two weeks doing volunteer work in remote areas of India I was looking for a really nice place to spend the last night in Delhi before leaving. I rejected many hotels after looking at reviews on Tripadvisor.com and selected Shanti Hotel based on its reviews. This hotel is only a short distance from the metro. The hotel staff...
