First experience in New Delhi and i’m extremely happy I chose to stay in Shangri-La Eros. We were greeted by Nawang from Guest Relations,Mr Abeshek and Mr Adity Dm and we’re served amazing authentic chai latte and cookies. Wonderful welcome and service.
When we travel as a family, we prefer more boutique hotels, however, for some cities (especially large ones where we are not 100% certain what to do), we select more formal 4-5 star hotels. I have stayed at Shangri-La’s before and have never been disappointed....More

Connaught Place, the heart of New Delhi, is one of the largest commercial, financial and business centers in the Capital. The sprawling horseshoe-shaped circular heritage market is a white dot in the green city, filled with shops, art & handloom emporiums,
fashion boutiques, an underground market, cinemas, a range of vintage and new restaurants & bars lined along the inner and Outer Circle. In the midst of all the hustle, CP is great for chilled out evening strolls and people watching, introducing the beauty and rhythm of the city. The ambience gets more colorful as you stroll along Janpath and the Central Cottage Industries Emporium, considered among Delhi’s best shopping areas.

Hi, stayed there for second time last September. Can answer part of your questions. The hotel is walking distance to Connaught Place, the quality of food is excellent and there is a choice of full western or Indian at breakfast, rooms have a fridge/minibar and there are tea making facilities.
I was originally given a room close to the renovations but was moved immediately on request. Pool and spa are excellent. Next door is the Royal Exchange which has a great restaurant and outdoor dining area. Not sure about good restaurants in walking distance as the area is very much hotel and govt building enclave but taxis and autos are dirt cheap. next time I visit will take a club room as probably better value. Regards. David
