There are many guest houses on the main 'street' in Majnu Ka Tilla but this one seems to be amongst the best - in my experience. Choose a room with its own bathroom - it's worth the additional rupees. Nice little restaurant with a small library and pleasant staff.

The location seemed crowded and quite scary if you ask me; it didn't look like a hotel from the outside at all! There was no view, the other buildings had about 2 meters between them serving as the alleyways, giving the view of the other building's stairs or rooms. The room hasn't been cleaned in months as the furniture was...

The room and location was a nightmare, I wouldn't recommend. The smell of mold was overwhelming with the fight against the cockroaches - felt like a bad dream! No view at all as the buildings had about 2 meters of space between them as the alley. It didn't look like a hotel at all from the outside. The receptionist tried...

Potala seems to be aiming to set the contemporary boutique design standard as all of Majnu ka Tilla seems to be in upgrade mode. I am in a very nice, QUIET, freshly painted, large flat screened TV room, while all the rooms seem to be getting a shining. AND DID I MENTION QUIET. ... After 2 years in India, quiet,...

The place is clean-ish and modern-ish, if a little over priced. I've stayed twice in both A/C and non-A/C. Staff excellent, lack attention to detail as in Joe M's review, but I agree that if you ask,you will receive. The TV is not a draw for me, though for some it would be. All in all a nice place to...

Among the available places in Majnu Ka Tilla, this was in d vincity of much cleaner locality. The hotel has a facade of a clean modern day looks, and offers good ambience and warm setings. The front office is among the best in MT. The rooms are ok, compared to average hotels else where, but among the places here its...

This is a tough one and It will be mixed. I stayed here in 2006 and again now. Now: The room renovations are great, lighting TV etc. The staff friendly. The price is just above the moderate end for the Majnu ka Tilla area, but, as the room renovations go, then worth the price. but... While friendly the staff does...
