The owners of Pruett's are GREAT people. The cabins are full on mice, insects and non working items. 4 people in the cabin but only enough plates, bowls for 2. They need to get the cabins in useable condition before i return.

The owners at the fish camp are very helpful. Fishing is great or just riding on the rental boats. The cabins are not fancy but are fine for fishing or relaxing by the water. I brought my 3 puppies and they had fun, too. I am going back there as often as I can get away for a relaxing time...

Weiss Lake is called the "crappie capitol of the world", and if you are a fisherman it lives up to its name with numbers of large crappie to be had. Pruett's is not a 5 star resort with fancy furnishings, but it is a perfect place to stay for a group of fishermen looking for a getaway. I have stayed...

I agree with the other person who said that the person who rated this place 5 stars must have been the owners. We had 3 cabins to choose from, one being worse than the others. The place smelled really bad, had spiders, and it looked like it came out of a 1920 magazine. Everything was old and nasty. Thank goodness...

The other review has to have been written by the owner. This place is old and run down, covered with spiders and dust and that is the good points. Apparently someone couldn't find the restroom and urinated in each room, the smell was scary! Please...check the rooms out before paying. I only say this because the words here do not...

Pruett's Fish Camp, Centre, Alabama has a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage that Betty Fann's Mother used to live in--it's around $125 a nite but is extremely upscale and has two bathrooms, also! The cottage is just 100 feet from the Lake and the view is very soothing to the nerves. The cottage is only 7 years old and has everyting...
