We had an amazing stay at La Loma. Everything was perfect—from the beautiful views, to the coffee brought to your bungalo, to the delicious food (coconut ceviche, chicken mole, and chocolate ingeniously incorporated into every meal). I wish we had stayed the full 4 days!...More

We went on the tour here, and it was fascinating. Henry is a committed and engaging guide, and gave us an amazing view into life and nature on Isla Bastimientos. Their homemade lunch was delicious, and I wished we'd stayed in the lodgings!

The temperature was fine when we were there But not sure if this will be the place for the a/c needy. This lodge offers a unique experience...and it is not typical in any way. No a/c, no blowdryers, no elevator, no t.v... More
