My family and I stayed at this beautiful jungle Lodge for three nights in January. From the moment we landed in Bocas, we were received and transported to the lodge with extreme love and care. Our open to nature cabin overlooking the tree tops, with picturesque views was

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to Panama. Friends had recommended it and we were so happy that we booked two nights. We should have booked more. The jungle lodge is a one of a kind, Zabrina and Ariel were gracious hosts. The food was spectacular. Locally sourced,

What’s the best way to get here from panama pty airport?
Fly to Bocas from Panama City. We went to another town near Boquete first and took what was a very memorable long and winding van ride to a dock, loaded onto a questionable water taxi and then got to Bocas. We all had strong stomachs, but this hilly winding road van ride was like no other. If you are coming from PTY, unquestionably FLY to Bocas.

The temperature was fine when we were there But not sure if this will be the place for the a/c needy. This lodge offers a unique experience...and it is not typical in any way. No a/c, no blowdryers, no elevator, no t.v., minimal electricity. It is such a special place. Anyone who stays here should be coming with an open mind. It is a luxury nature experience and nature is unpredictable.

How accessible is the beach?
It's not really a place to just go to the beach. They'll take you by boat if you want to go. I suppose you could spend your trip doing that, but La Loma is amazing for the adventures (Hikes, caves, snorkeling).
