We intended to stay at Bocas Bound for 3 nights but loved it so much we ended up staying for 10! This hostel has a really cool vibe, clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. The food is really tasty, the beach is idyllic. We had so much fun snorkelling, kayaking and surfing in the clear blue sea of...

Although we were originally planning to stay in Bocas Town, we changed our plans in favor of this hostel near Red Frog beach. We stayed in one of the suites, which basically has two small bedrooms with double beds and a third, twin bed, in an open living area and a big private bathroom (kind of dorm style, but all...

During my trip to Costa Rica and Panama this is the hostel that i liked the most, there is the jungle and the beach, good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. The beach is 100 meters but the road is nice, in the middle of the jungle where you can see spectacular red frogs! Walking, it is 1 hour and...

Frankly, this place is sick! Super clean, a small walk (through the very cool jungle) to Red Frog beach and only a bit more to Turtle Beach. You won't find a better beach with no crowds and even a bar to quench even the gnarliest thirst. All the staff are very laid back and very helpful - not to mention...

I have stayed in many hostels around the world, and this is by far one of the cleanest and friendliest I have ever come across. Let's not forget the gorgeous surroundings! A sweet walk through the jungle opening to a beautiful beach, with many miles of beach to further discover. The local people are extremely friendly and the folks who...

You could stay here for weeks! Fun staff, lovely beach, good and cheap food! The hostel has a very relazed athmosphere. We stayed in a "suite" - large bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a pullout bed in the "common room" where we had a small fridge. 75$ for 5people! Its a short boat taxi ride from Isla Colon. We went in...

“"semi-private" can get loud. With or without amorous neighbors, the walls are thin . Dorms I hear are nice or try a full-private.”

“If you're going to stay here, stay in the dorms, they seem to be kept nicer and they have more space.”
of 5 bubbles sharissaj, 24 Apr 2014 | Read review
“1. The last water taxi leaves at around 5:30, you should check to make sure you don't get stranded like I did... 2. The allusive nude-beach is a bit of a hike, and not really necessary since the locals tolerate topless sunbathers, however, if you want to make the 2.5 mile walk, you will need good footwear, as once the beach ends, you have to walk through the jungle a bit to get to the nude side.”

“Be aware that the semi private rooms do not have enclosed ceilings!”

“Go for the semi-private which is only 4.60$ more than 2 dorm beds and make sure you bring ear plugs.”
