My husband and I stayed at Bahia Del Sol for 2 nights on an anniversary trip and loved every second of it. We chose this place based on other reviews describing the local culture, the helpfulness of the owners, and the house's location just outside downtown. We were not disappointed! The home and master bedroom were beautiful, warm and inviting.... More

I stayed in Bahia Del Sol for 19 days in October 2016. It is situated a little bit away from the main town on the water with a great view over the mainland. If you walk to town it is about 15 mins or there are taxis for under $1 to get there which you just hail on the street.... More

Beautiful house on the water located in the working class neighborhood. Caring owners make stay pleasant and wary free due to advice's about area attractions and restaurants. The only advice I would not take is the recommended tour operator, who was just average. Kayaks available were great got the calm bay the hotel faces.

Bahia del sol is probably the most beautiful place to stay in bocas del torro. It is owned by an American couple and breakfast is included. Tops are the rooms. Every place to sleep is wonderfully situated at the ocean and is directed at the sundown. Jack and Lee can book you restaurants, cabs and diving or boat trips. They... More

This place is run by a cute couple from Ohio. Jack and his wife. They have a cute dog and a cat and feed the scraps of food from breakfast to the fish that swim around the bay because its truly organic. They help you with activities through out the island and make the best breakfasts! The rooms are cute... More

We stayed at Bahia for four nights last week. We liked it a lot - I'm all about the local vibe when I travel and this definitely did not disappoint! We stayed in the Master room next door (Casa Rosada) and it was perfect. The first two nights had a gorgeous breeze for nice sleeping. The next two days and... More

Pros are its a bit out of town (really only 5 min or so outside of town) so it's not as noisy and Bocas Town. You still will hear music late into the evening. We found Panama as a whole noisy. I guess when staying in Bocas Town this is a good place. The owners are from Ohio but are... More

We stayed at Bahia del Sol for almost a week. We booked a suite, two bedrooms a living room and a bathroom. The suite also had a balcony. It was clean, apart from cockroaches, which we could find in the restroom during the night. But we were warned in advance and we didn't really care much. Jack and his wife... More

This charming B&B is located in a poor but completely safe part of town. You will really see how the locals live...children playing, animals roaming, people working. You know you're "not in Kansas" when you see a woman standing outside for hours washing clothes in a bucket. Jack and Lee are wonderful hosts and know absolutely everything about area including...
