My friend and I stayed at the hotel just next to Hotel Bocas del Toro but we have been to the happy hour everyday of our 3 day trip to Boca Town. Anna at the bar is the best and I guarantee you will have a good time. We also had dinner one night and the food, although basic, was...

Lovely view from our balcony on the third floor . We could watch all the "action" happening on the Bay outside out room. Wooden walls, furniture with a nautical theme. Staff was friendly and helpful. Could not ask for a better place to stay.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here and we are so sorry we didn't stay longer. I debated between a few hotels before booking the Hotel Bocas del Toro and staying there was absolutely the right decision. The accommodations were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the water in the back area...

Highly recommended. Very nice hotel (keeping in mind that Bocas is a ramshackle tropical beach town, not Waikiki Beach). Staff is friendly and helpful, and American owner Carla is often around to provide tips, advice, info and just about anything you might need. Lovely location on the water.

Great hotel - right on the water, middle of the action. This place is a classic - old wooden structure with a restaurant on piers over the water in the back. I would image that the rooms overlooking the street could be noisy if there is some festival - in any case, I would spring for the rooms in the...

Middle of the action says it all! On the town side, you can watch bustling activity stroll on by. And on the water side, the never ending parade of boats coming and going from the islands. Where better to enjoy it all than in our hotel, restaurant and bar?

Stayed here 5 nights with City view room. There is a bar across the street that is open all night. Even with ear plugs I could not sleep because of all the noise. Saturday was the worst. This hotel was pretty basic but very expensive especillay if you factor in the noise. Front desk staff were great. Breakfast OK.

Dear Journeys2017, We're sorry to learn that the thumpin' bumpin' music of Bocas town kept you awake. We see that your stay was in February, which may have coincided with Las Carnavales, the biggest party of the year in Panama. It's a cultural event that doesn't stop, night and day. No Sleep 'til Bocas, Panamanians love to party! If you're...

I first vacationed in BDT in 2002, and my accommodation for 6 nights was Hotel Bocas Del Toro. I so fell in love with the island and this hotel that I bought my own private property on Isla Colón in 2007. This trip, in January 2017, I spent a few days on my property with my boyfriend, but because it...

We stayed for one night in February. We had room 8 and it was lovely. Loved the wood panelling throughout the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. I really liked the nautical theme. The staff were very chilled out and friendly. We would have stayed another night but they were fully booked. Just a small walk from...

Great location looking right over the water. We visited with our 2 adult children and there was plenty of room in the large suite we had -- even had a terrace to watch the boats. Breakfast was fine and service was good. Price was reasonable. Lots of restaurants in town.

Nice hotel right in middle of Boca town. Was happy to find 2 rooms there for the 4 of us for 3 nights, Thur, Fri, Sat. with no Reservation. Rooms were good to very good.
