We were hit with rainstorms for most of our trip and were stuck inside. We got the penthouse to give ourselves space and we were extremely glad for it. The penthouse is very spacious and we weren't on top of each other at every moment....More
This is well located hotel in the funky town of Bocas del Toro, with a view of the water, fisherman, and daily life in Bocas. We had a suite, with a balcony looking onto the water. Small kitchen and living area, and a comfortable bed....More
My boyfriend and I booked the standard room for 3 nights. It's a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The breakfast is very good too.
Near the hotel, there are a lot of locals that organize the tours to the other islands and a variety...More
We saw that Jimmy Buffet stayed here for a couple of nights. His taste in hotels has proven to be slightly better than ours, so we booked two nights here. We were not disappointed. Everything in this island town is delivered by boat. So there...More
Best hotel in Bocas Town, clean, new, good value
Big rooms and confortable beds, friendly staff and great location within walking distance of everything but yet far enough from noises and the party crowd. Decent breakfast included

Bocas if pretty quiet. You can, however, walk across the street from the PR and there are water taxis and for a very nominal fee will take you to some great beaches. In the same location there are also tour companies. Also, the wonderful Front Desk personnel can assist you with all of this.
The room we had on the 3rd floor had a bdrm. with a double (as I recall) bed and there was another bed in the living room. It was perfect for two females.
You will need to fly to Panama City into the International Airport. You'll then need to get a cab to cross town (an hour or so, depending on time of day) to the domestic airport for the hour flight to Bocas.
We landed at 8:00a at the International airport and had a tour guide meet us. He was fabulous and showed us Panama (canal, Old Panama and other sights),and then took us to the domestic airport for our 4:00p flight to Bocas. It was a fun day!
We also spent the last night at an airport hotel in Panama City for our early-morning flight the next morning.
I hope you enjoy Bocas as much as we did!

Thank you for your answers Larry and April! No, we are located in Town on the Main Street within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. We are across the Street fromthe Sea, so you will get a sea view in most of our rooms. We recommend several nice beaches to visit during the day. Red Frog is about a 7 minute boat taxi and Bocas del Drago is about a 30 minute drive by land. They are 2 of the best options for swimming beaches.
