This Hotel is just amazing! Small, familiar, big villa with outdoor bathroom. It is middle in the nature and the only sound which you can here comes form birds. The pool is very nice. The food tasted perfect. Ask in the evening for Sri Lankan breakfast, they will cook for you an unforgettable meal. We can highly recommend it! But...

The Staff are so friendly and accommodations, the food is excellent. The villas are out of town and in the bush so you are surrounding with nothing other than...

The hotel is run by very friendly, attentive staff who will try their upmost to make your stay enjoyable. We only ate Sri Lankan food during our stay and it was all delicious, we couldn't fault any of it. Sadly our...

On arrival you are greeted by very friendly gentlemen who cannot do enough for you. Check in is very efficient and you are soon relaxing in your room or by the pool. The location is off the beaten track, but this is all part of the charm of this oasis. We sat by the pool watching the monkeys in the...

Had two separate rooms side by side - We all actually had our best sleeps in Sri lanka at this hotel. Very welcoming and authentic - bit put off as we approached as there were loads of electric pylons but you drive past this and the setting is very beautiful. Low trees very jungly and beautiful and calm. The staff...

My husband and I stayed at Kumbukgaha Villa for 3 nights during our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! Our villa was extremely clean and we were left a basket of flowers with local goodies to celebrate our marriage which was very kind. The food is simple but delicious Sri Lankan food which is served with all the guests together...

Truly a hidden gem! From the minute you walk into Kumbukgaha Villa, you feel the difference. It is not your ordinary hotel. Despite proving all the comforts of a good hotel, it also has that homely feeling which is probably due to their extra courteous staff who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The whole property...

Superb hideout and relaxing place. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is excellent. But, food menus should be more attractive and more variety of menus. Pool is nice and cottages are good. Other than the food menus, the rest is fabulous.
