Of the eight or so similar priced guest houses we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this one was the least enjoyable experience, by quite some margin. Although the accommodation was clean, our room was small, dark, and felt very cramped particularly as there was nowhere in the room to hang or put clothes, not even one hook....

Our room was basic, ensuite with air-con. But you aren't paying luxury prices. More cupboard space would have made the room better as we had to live out of suitcases. Pretty garden with nice surroundings. Dinners cooked by Milton's wife were the best meals we had in Sigiriya. However breakfasts were disappointing. Milton had good English and was always helpful...

We found this guest house disappointing. The room was basic and damp. My wife does not drink tea or coffee and we asked for a fruit juice for her for breakfast. They said there was nothing and she went without. When comparing this with the hospitality we received elsewhere it was very poor. The breakfast was generally poor. When I...

The guest house was ok. The owner was friendly and arranged a good threeweeler-driver for us to Kandy. We think that climbing pidurangala rock is much better than the Sigiriya rock. You have very nice views on the lions rock from Pidurangala and have superb views on the surroundings for only Rs 500. We've met Sunil, a local guide there....

Milton and his family are lovely, I really enjoyed my stay here. milton will help you arrange activities should you need his help but doesn't push anything if you prefer to explore independently which is what I did... The location us perfect, just 100m from the tiny town with its little cafes and practically over the road from the entrance...

I've been in Sri Lanka several times and I do always come back here. Milton and his family are lovely persons and will make you feel like home. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The views are amazing and the backyard it's beautiful, if you're lucky you'll see some wild elephants crossing the rice fields. The family will help...

This B&B is run by local Milton and his family. My family of 3 made the booking thru booking.com and stayed in their triple room in the annex building. Sizeable, clean and comfortable a/c room with ensuite bathroom. Peaceful garden with numerous birds in the morning. Nice view of Sigiriya rock from the back yard. Breakfast was home cooked and...

We stayed 2 nights at Paradise Inn as our first stop In Sri Lanka and it was great. Sigiriya is a small place in comparison to other places but there is lots to do within a few days. Paradise Inn was great, the rooms are clean and comfy with ac and fans. The food was incredible, we ate both nights...

We stayed 4 nights in the Paradise Inn and we (4 adults and three children) loved it very much. The family is so friendly, we even were sad to have to leave them when our stay was over. Milton speaks relatively well English and knows a lot about the history of Sigirya and the animals living there. The rooms were...

We stayed here in a family room that accommodated the 5 of us. Our ensuite room was basic but adequate with nice dining table and seating directly outside the room. Breakfast was very disappointing... with only dry and stodgy offerings of toast, plain pancakes and plain hoppers. We missed platters of tropical fruit (which I would imagine would be purchased...
