A place where people could test and enjoy peacefully with out any trouble or distabance we went to this place on the 27 I we stayed there for 2 days the hotel was good we could walk about 500 meters to the beach and also we could visit the town in Hikkaduwa and Hikkaduwa fish market too many tourists visit this place we also could go boat rides as well as Turtle watching some turtle visit the beach too there are many corals and seashells the beach isn't much deep it is suitable for anyone at night this hotel is peaceful and there are rooms with all the facilities also some times peacocks also visit this place awesome place anybody could come and enjoy this place on of the wonderful hotel in Hikkaduwa Though it is small it is awesome 👍
The location is central, the room was nice. The price was about £7 a night - cheap! Buuuut the traffic noise is constant, and unfortunately the owner stayed up hitting drums and singing with about eight friends until 10:45pm one night - maybe you will be out way past that anyway, because Hikkaduwa is party central if you want it. If you don't get bothered by noise, this place is for you, across the road from the beach (no view of the beach though), and cheap cheap cheap. The owner and staff were always super helpful and smiley so maybe give it a go!
You should not expect too much when you only paid around 2000 per night. Compared to the hotel we had visited, this one was the cheapest we found. It wasn't the worst and it was located in a very strategic area even though it doesn't have sea view. You just have to cross the road and walk through a small gap between two buildings to find a great beach. No hot water, no ac, no breakfast but you get wifi.
This is a very poor place to stay and I recommend you stay away!! While it's a budget hotel, that's no excuse for sloppiness...and sloppy it was. The rooms and especially bathrooms were unclean, and there was no service re change of linen etc. Althought there was a menu in each room, there is no functioning restaurant ..leave alone the possibility of getting a cup of tea/coffee. The place was full of mosquitoes especially in the dark rooms and dank dirty bathrooms. There is no wifi to speak of and certainly no AC. There are fans and mosquitoes nets provided and these are much needed.
The beach is just across the road, Good place to stay and enjoy the hikkaduwa beach, Convenience of comfort…They offer you the comforts of home. Spacious, comfortable rooms surrounded by a large expanse of peaceful garden, with breakfast available at the in house restaurant.
