The hosts was really welcoming and helpful. Great dinner and my boyfriend thought it was the best he had☺️ The bed was ok but it was not especially high standard in the room, but I don't expect high standard from this type of reservations anyhow, so for the price and service I give a high recommendation.

We stayed here last night- a fantastic family run place- really clean and really great place! We were made to feel very comfortable by the owners son and even ate there- the food was awesome! The chef bought the food out and even told us what each dish was made from, which was a great touch! Unfortunately we've now realised...

I stayed only 1 night in this guesthouse with my wife, when we made a short stop in Dambulla to visit the cave temples there. The accommodation was not so bad, although our room was not prepared, when we arrived, because there were no towels, toillet paper or blankets, but after we asked about that, they brought everything. The room...

Stayed one night to visit the cave and the spot was well located. We came here because we read a lot about the food and I have to agree it was tasteful. Room was okay, clean but some improvement can be done. All in all, a good choice.

Great moment with Saman and his team. He explain us all ingredients chosen for his Rice and curry and it was delicious. The background garden is perfect to have a fresh beer and good discussion. Really great moment! Highly recommended.

We traveled around Sri Lanka for several weeks, and Saman's was definitely our favorite place. The location is great (just half a kilometer from the amazing Dambulla Buddhist Museum and cave temples), the rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and the service is good, but what really sets the place apart is Saman himself. He looks very traditional with...

Friendly family run bed and breakfast that do offer lunch and dinner. Rooms were nice and clean. Guesthouse is close to Dambulla Caves - walking distance. Had some trouble accommodating my group of 15 people, but they made a plan and made sure we were comfortable.

We ended up at Saman's guesthouse on a rainy night, and got treated to a delicious rice and curry. It was so good we came back for another dinner, and had grilled fish and salad. The place is cozy and people are nice and friendly, in particular Roshan went out of his way to made us feel at home. Additionally,...

We didnt book our rooms in advance so we were just walking in to different places. We saw Saman's Guesthouse by the road and knew that it was the best one amongst the others that we saw. The wonderful family who runs the place made us feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended. Try their eat...
