Very disappointed by the poor quality of service. The food is not good and expensive. The room is VERY basic, it contains NOTHING at all. Just a smelly bed. Ramon is not as friendly as in the comments. He's just a good businessman that will provide you with a fake Ifugao experience.

It's not easy to get here and only for people who are able to hike for around 30 minutes just to get to Ramon's homestay. The huts are pretty simple but clean and with breathtaking views of the riceterraces, at least the hut we stayed in (hut 6). No power inside but candles and matches are provided. The toilet and...

So great, familiar, nice staff and the owner Ramon really want to make sure everybody are happy, he love to sit by the fire at night and talk to the guests. Very basic rooms and bathrooms but clean accomidation even though some floors are made of dirt. The food is good too but take some time to get. We would...

We stayed in a hut which was very cool. Sleeps 4 with a nice view. Food is mediocre but the view makes up for it! Ramon is very nice and loves to teach about his culture. From here you can go on a fantastic day hike. Make sure you can handle all the climbing!

Could not reccoomend highly enough. Wonderful staff, incredibly helpful and accommodating, beautiful authentic huts and food and willingness to bend over backwards to make your stay perfect. Ramon, or Irene, will also organise transport for you from Banaue once you arrive from the bus. Caution; the bus 'guide (tourist trap)' will discourage you from using them. Do not listen to...

I think this accommodation is okay but not totally great. It has the nice view of Banaue. But other than that a little disappointing. The food and the rest of the facilities are a bit over priced. The staff is okay. I met a guy who was the cook that time and he was very accommodating.

A native Ifugao hut is made into a summer camp bunk and you get to sleep there. Hut #6 has an amazing view of the rice terraces, however. When you decide to go to Batad, your decision is to rough it and with that said, Ramon's is a nice place at which to stay, and probably the best in Batad....

An authentic experience staying in a traditional thatched roof hut....toilets in the main building so when nature called in the middle of the night, had to get the wooden door open, fix the ladder to make my way down from the hut and shoo off the barking dogs to find my way to the bathroom. A fun experience. The food...

Hiking through the rice terraces of Batad and Tappia Falls, we had an overnight stay in one of the Native Huts. Ramon is the one welcoming the guests and he even gave us stories about their culture and how he got to save the huts. The food is good, though it takes time to prepare, they only have 1 person...

A fabulous place to visit with great people taking related care of their guests !! Very good food. Low prices ... Just matching to the needs. But also the best guide you can find in this region of the Philippines, the unique Irène. Visit them you won't be disappointed.
