Excellent road trip to Huaraz. The hotel has a very small parking lot but was OK. Near by the main streets, good food, the rooms were OK but a little old furniture. The owner was at the hotel breakfast and she is very concerned about there clients. Very good
One of the best hotels. Although the hotel is listed only three stars, but stay in it felt like a much more prestigious hotel, thanks to the atmosphere and service. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a way that gives you a pleasant and relaxing home feeling. The hotel is built as one or two storey rooms built around paved courtyards or with a garden. Each corner is carefully designed. Isabelle, the owner of the hotel, is charming and together with the entire hotel staff provide excellent service. The lobby room or rather the general guest room is equipped with a fireplace that allows you to spend the evening with a good meal and a glass of wine and relax from one of the treks in the nearby mountains.Although the hotel is some distance from the city center, but the center is accessible by taxi or by hired car. Do not allow this to prevent you from having the experience of staying at this hotel. In the case of this hotel, the saying "we will return" is more than a statement, we will return!…
My friends and I stayed here while visiting the ancient ruins of Chavin. If you’re in this area, or visiting Chavin as well, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s like a cabin style place with beautiful outdoor spaces and dining area- and the guests shared space is the most beautifully decorated place I’ve ever seen. The staff is so wonderfully kind and adaptable. I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could!
I loved staying at this gorgeous charming inn! The owners were so friendly and the rooms were excellent. I felt really comfortable. The food was also really really good. It’s a short drive from some unbelievable ancient sites. I highly Recommend this place!
El Patio de Monterrey Welcome respite from Huaraz and the rigours of the Cordillera Blanca. Just 6kms outside of the adrenalin pumping Huaraz you’ll find some welcome respite at this charming hotel close to the thermal hot baths of Monterrey. Modelled on the architecture of its namesake in New Mexico the hotel has a lovely courtyard with beautiful clay pots planted with succulents and geraniums. Both the generous lounge and dining room had a fire lit each evening at around 7pm and the service is friendly and attentive. We much enjoyed our two nights here before heading to Nevado Pisco and Laguna 69. Many thanks to the staff for looking after us so well.
