Huacachina is a cool spot to visit. Not a lot of hotels to choose from because a lot of travellers do day trips. Staying here though is cool so you can see the village at sunset and during the day. The rooms are basic with...More

Hi there! I really can't remember. But it is cool in the evenings and only gets hot once the sun comes out during the day. You should write to the hotel directly. They were really good at responding when I wrote.

I live in Lima and have been to Ica various times. You need to calculate at least 4 hours from Lima to Ica and 1/2 to 1 hour within Lima to reach the airport. Lima traffic is chaotic, so the time it takes you from the airport to the South end of Lima can be 30 minutes at 4 a.m., 60-70 minutes at 12 p.m. or 70-120 minutes at 7 p.m.
We just showed up. They don't have a parking lot, but there was street parking right in front. We didn't have a problem, but it wouldn't hurt to let them know you'll need parking. Have a great vacation!!!
