Of all the hotels in which we stayed in Peru, Inkaterra was our favorite. It is a charming spot with some of its own gardens, paths, an organic farm, lots of flowers, butterflies and birds. The food was excellent as it was fresh from the farm. Terrific experience!

this is an oasis of tranquil calm in a busy little town. Such a fabulous setting for a hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the staff helpful and the food was very good at breakfast and dinner. The location is just outside the town, only a few minutes walk to the shops, buses to Macchu Picchu and the train station. The staff...

The hotel is very nice and all the staff, except in the dining areas were excellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the large lobby and gathering area was comfortable and welcoming. We really liked this hotel but the waitstaff in the dining area were either incompetent or were at war with the kitchen. At our dinner (we were a...

You can't believe how happy we were to get here after four days of camping! Paradise. Lovely rooms with a fireplace, gorgeous grounds, excellent food. It was a well needed rest and we were ready for the rest of our trip. Loved it!

Of course the main reason for visiting this area is to see Macchu Picchu, but this hotel has much else to offer. The birdwatching and nature walks were very interesting. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, the rooms are in buildings scattered around the garden and are very comfortable. Breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs (or quinoa pancakes)....

This hotel is amazing. Located steps from the train but seems to be engulfed within the rainforest. They offer many different activities around the hotel grounds which is convenient. The food is delicious. The cottages are very quaint and relaxing. The lobby is a perfect place to relax and grab a drink after a long day a Machu Picchu.

This hotel was used by Mountain Lodges of Peru on the last night of our trek. The hotel was beautiful and staff were helpful and friendly. They were well-prepared to host our group. We had welcome drinks and a briefing on the amenities. The room itself was the perfect size and had a nice private porch area. Very quaint. The...

You would never know that this glorious hotel was in town - at the end of the path that runs along the railway line and over a simple bridge lies this understated haven. The casitas are dotted around in the 5 hectare grounds, accessed by stone paths and the never-ending steps you find in the Andean region. Our casita was...

This hotel was the worst hotel of our 10 day trip to Peru. I can't understand the reviews people give it ? We booked through A & K which was supposed to offer the best. Not so here. We were put in the smallest room at the back end of the hotel which meant climbing more steps which was one...

We spent two nights at Inkaterra during our tour of Machu Picchu. This is more of a rain forest village than a traditional "hotel". The facility consists of many cabanas scattered throughtout the grounds in an amazing cloud forest setting with tropical plants and birds. They even have a self guided tour of the property. The rooms are spacious with...
