I just spent 2 nights here with my family (two young kids). Some of the reviews had me on guard, but never an issue or problem. They met us at train station and it was a short walk to hotel. The young women (I forgot her name, sorry) who met us and checked us in did not seem friendly at...

I stayed at the hotel for 1 night before heading to Macchu Picchu. The hotel staff met me at the rail way station and couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating my request for a quiet room, and helping me turn on the hot water (user error - it was hot). I also ordered a packed lunch to take to Macchu...

We stayed here for two nights and the woman at the front desk and Soledad (a staff member there) really made our stay wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful. She helped give advice about when to be ready for the bus to Machu Picchu, a good and inexpensive massage place, and she was more than happy to have a...

This quaint inn is a 7 minute walk from the train station and a two minute walk from the bus stop to Macchu Picchu. I wish we would have stayed more than one night. We loved the inn. The room was beautiful. The beds divine, with great linens and pillows. The bathroom was spotless, with thick towels and lots of...

I traveled with a friend and we both got separate rooms. I lucked out and got a room facing the river with a double bed. I got to watch and hear the river all night. My friend got a room around the corner with two small twin beds and no view. I felt kinda bad because we paid the same...

Out of all of the hotels that I stayed at during my three weeks in Peru, this was by far the worst experience that I had. Firstly, prior to arriving at the hotel in the weeks before leaving for Peru I attempted to contact the hotel on numerous occasions by both email and telephone without any response. I was actually...

Jorge is great and his mother's homemade breakfast was very good. The only reason not giving it a 5-star rating was because of accoustics. A group of people also staying the night were placed in adjacent rooms and talked loud to each other from different rooms. Had I not brought along earplugs, I would not not have gotten any sleep....

We booked the triple room at the top of the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the trees and listened to the river flowing all night. Hot showers very good. The staff were very kind and helpful. We stored our luggage after checking out while we went to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was so big, that we were able to...

We stayed here just one night (that was enough of overpriced, massively touristy Aguas Calientes for us!). The bed and nicely pressurized HOT shower were heavenly after our Salkantay trek :) Check-in was fine; thank you, Action Peru Treks guide, Hipolito...you rock! Exhausted as we were, we showered, took a nap in the heavenly bed, and went for dinner. We...
