Hi, the 8-year old might be able to enjoy parts of a Machu Picchu trip, not sure about the younger one; it is a long trip where hiking places such as WaynaPicchu make the journey worth it; definitely not a hike for a 4-year old; having been there twice I would recommend to either wait until tour you g one gets older, as this is more of an adult experience and you might find yourselves feeling that you were not able to experience as much due to the long walks, hikes that takes to experience the Inka Valley.
