Stayed one night before going up to Machu Picchu, though it was in a package deal we had purchased thru Mystery Peru, hotel was very clean, comfortable and very friendly to any needs. Good location, restaurants nearby.

We had a limited choice of hotel from list from Inca Trail company, and had no expectation after reading all these reviews. But our rooms are clean and comfortable (2nd floor, facing the river), no issue with noises from buses or anybody else. Breakfast is great. Way more than acceptable for its price and rating. Hot water was an issue...

To start with, I wouldn't book this hotel again. Rooms: Had to change rooms due to a broken window in the shower, which allowed bugs to enter freely, which they did. Rooms were clean and simple, but the back side of the hotel seems to be under construction, which isn't very pretty (as of Sept 2015). Also, there are a...

Perfect location for peace and restful nights, with gorgeous views of the river. We stayed here for 2 nights as our home between Machu Picchu hikes. Hearing the river flow was so relaxing, and it's away from all the hustle and bustle of the touristy downtown area of Aquas Calientes. Nice breakfast to start your day!

We were on a tour so had no say in the hotels we stayed in. At first we found this one noisy, with a lot of hallway noise in the evening -- the corridor floors were all tile, so noise travelled. We were also on the first floor, near the stairway to the lobby, so that may have contributed to...

On the buss route so if you are facing the beautiful view at 5:30 am they will wake you along with the Army of young people headed up the mtn. If you are on the back side you can't open windows because of construction/security issues. The breakfast is good ask for eggs.

More than acceptable accommodation for a night or two. Quiet, although small, rooms. No elevator. Wi-fi is free and works great. Buffet breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and have the usual amenities.

Found just out from the main square,so quieter with super friendly staff. Rooms are light, clean and comfortable. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the river - great for afternoon Pisco sours. A great start to our visit to Machu Picchu.

We stayed here for one night before our trip to Machu Picchu. The hotel is an easy downhill walk from the station. Our room overlooked the rocky river and had 2 double beds. It was very comfortable and it was lovely listening to the sound of the nearby river. Our Machu Picchu tour guide queued for us in line and...

Not worth the money. The hotel was fine, but for 20$ a night more in Cusco, we stayed at Casa San Blas, which offered true luxury and comfort. Santuario is taking advantage of the fact that you are stuck in Aguas Calientes with many not great options. Also, our daughter's andian migration card was lost and this was the only...
