The hostel itself is beautiful. The room is a hostel room. Nothing special but that's what you pay for. They have a nice bar but the service isn't very great. I ran across the street to the liquor store and made my own drinks. Cheaper that way. Breakfast isn't included but its good. I would go back.

I was here for one night. The beachten is Nice. My room was directly on the Road in Front of the Bus Station. So it was really loud. The Boss was really unfriendly und treated me Not Nice. Would Not recomnend it.

There is not much happenning in the hostel, no dinner available, but they still offer snacks and drinks (which are obviously overpriced) and the breakfast (didn't try). But there are plenty of options if you want a nice meal and ambiance. Like the Natural Vegetarian Restaurant 5 min walk or Villa Paraiso that offers really good food but the room...

I don't generally give poor reviews, but it is clear that the owner here is over worked. The owner is also the receptionist and he is very very unfriendly. I didn't try the breakfast here, but there is no dinner no bar no food. The location is great, on the beach with lots of hammocks, but there are other options!...

The owner/manager of this property is an jerk.. Don't stay here. There are just as nice places, cheaper, at santa cruz. There is nothing exceptional about this place. When the electricity and wifi went off and I asked to check out, I was denied. Even though there would be no lighting throughout the night. If you stay here (and anywhere...

The beach here is beautiful, great views, and Buena Vista is the cheapest beach front option. Nice lounge area with tons of hammocks, clean small room, the staff we had were friendly enough and helpful. The vegetarian restaurant down the road has delicious food and huge servings, and Ojo de Agua is only a 15min bike ride away. The only...

Playa Domingo is a nice place to stay in Ometepe and Buena Vista is among the cheapest of the beach front ones (El Bosque has shared rooms cheaper and Casa Nohelia next to the mirador comedore is also cheap). The staff here are so grumpy though and the ants/bugs are an issue.

“Look for AC outlet, run the fan to see if ils noisy. Ask for the rules of the place, he will make a new rule several times a day. Like you can not bring food fron another place, and there is no restaurant service.”

“I would choose one of the Cabinas close to the water......the only downside is they are right across from the restaurant area which is where most people hang out so it can get a little noisy in the evening, however most people were in bed by 10pm....this is not a party hostel.”
