The property is a restored kasbah. Well decorated accordingly to its heritage and evolving culture. We arrived around 16h30. We were really tired after a long car journey. The access to the hall of the lodge was in the middle of a long dark corridor with a muddy floor. The manager/cook/front officer (the only staff we saw during our stay)...

Enjoyed our stay very much. Good dinner, breakfast and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend this place for future travellers! Also nice is the adjacent little museum about life in a ksar. Not very much else to add anymore.

Great 300-400 years old Kasbah, restored in a very nice, cosy and authentic way without being a fake folkloristic place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located in an old village near a huge Palmeraie. Definitely a recommendation if you look for a place to stay when you are in Zagora or heading to the desert near M'hamid. Mustafa, the manager...

Where to start... The Kasbah is perfectly located in a nice, quite small village. Altough it is about 8 km from the center of Zagora, the owner Mustapha picked me up at the bus station, and was always willing to drive me for free! The Kasbah has beautifull, big and clean rooms with a western standard bathroom and sun-heated water!...

Arrived with 2 motorcycles, to make sure the would be still there the next day we could park them in the restaurant. Comfortable place, nice atmosphere and good food in very old Kasbah. At the back you find a palmeria, Zagora is appr 15 km furher.

I visited Kasbah Ziwana in April with my boyfriend. Arriving at 10 o’clock at night after a tiring 8-hour coach journey, we were greeted by Mustapha, who had been waiting at the bus stop after arranging our drop off personally with the driver on the phone (the place is not easy to find alone and without speaking much French). We...

I stayed at the Kasbah Ziwana in last February with my boyfriend for one night. I found the place when I heard the owner, Jean-Claude speaking about it in a café in Zagora and asked him about it. He's a very warm and helpful person and told me that, being an architect, I would love the place. Indeed, this is...

We arrived by motorcycle to visit zagora. We stayed at this quite and very friendly old Kasbah. The Kasbah is very nice. The food was great, hope cooked meats with a great view. We allowed to park out motorbike safely in the hotel. The host also spent time to make our stay comfortable and had great pride in talking about...

Stopped here for a tea after visiting the museum. The hotel is very unique in the sense that it's inside of a kasbah. The rooms are decorated following the traditional kasbah style. The staff is very nice. Make sure to check the terrace and the views over the palmeraie.

Jean-Claude and Naji welcomed us in their hotel on 29th December. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Dinner was excellent. Not to mention the fascinating museum (10 dirhams) housed within the property. The owners have a passion for preserving the ancient cultural heritage of Morocco. What a fantastic way to spend a night in an...
