Live and taste a different culture, was incredible for all of us. All these sensations in a hotel simply fantastic!!!. small hotel but with all facilities that you can need to...

We stayed here overnight as part of a private tour so we could experience the desert. Because we stayed out in the dunes until the sun went down we arrived after dark and didnt get an opportunity to look around. Our room was at the end of a walkway overlooking the desert which was an awesome sight the next day....

The hotel is one of the most southern ones in Hassilabied, little north of Merzouga. It's easy to find and offers many parking spots with shadow. The whole area is surrounded by a wall and gates which are closed during the night and there is video supervision on the entrances, so one does really feel save there. The room was...

So poor we forfetted hotel cost & moved to another place. Very run down, dirty pool, ripped chair cushions, etc. Only reason given a 2 star vs 1 star is that the staff were very helpful and polite. Claim be on the dunes...sort of...pay the extra and go for a dessert camp instead. You'll be glad you did,

Stayed one night in Dec 2015. Rooms are cosy but bathroom area is freezing this time of year. Had dinner in the dining room, and because our room was so cold, decided to stay in front of the fireplace for a while. Several staff then joined us and started playing traditional Berbere instruments for just us, which was great. Wi-fi...

After a terrible accident on our way to the desert, my sister and I were greeted at Dar El Janoub in such a warm and comforting way that we knew this was a special place. Although it is out of our usual budget, we ended up staying on because of the wonderful people and beautiful grounds. The food is lovely...

Dar El Janoub is the kind of place that stays in your heart on a very special level after you leave it. It is not overmade, the decor is authentic and the location in front of the dunes Erg Chebbi is remarkable. But what makes it the most unique is the personality of the owner and director who is very...

The Dar el-Janoub is a refined hostelry, in an excellent location, providing an authentic desert experience in complete comfort, with an incredibly hospitable staff. Upon arrival, after a long, sandy drive, my husband and I were warmly welcomed by Omar, one of our charming hosts. We then enjoyed a delicious lunch beautifully prepared and presented by Ahmed, accompanied by a...

We are regular Morokko travelers and this time we decided to rent a car and travel to Merzouga via Skourra and back to Marakech. It's a recommended journey, but avoid the hot months (even June is really hot in the south) where you travel from Marakesh, via the high Atlas, crossing the narrow roads and small remote villages to a...

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us. My friends and I stayed at the hospitable Dar el Janoub on a recent trip to Merzouga.
