its certainly is not the design hotel, but a nice and comfortable place in the desert - in fact it is what the name says. the staff was very friendly, food very good, nice swimming pool (a luxury considering the location) though with freezing cold water in May, rooms very spacious and some bathrooms very nice (rooms upstairs are better)....

I fell in love with Hotel Nomad Palace when I went there last summer.. my only mistake was having stayed there only 2 nights, it was a very short time to really enjoy everything. The hotel has a great location in the Merzouga desert, walking-distance from the dunes, the camels, the unforgettable desert experience. I was in awe on my...

the installations are not the best ever, but you need to consider it's a desert hotel, and in the context, it's ok. my room was incredibly big, well decorated. the hotel is not that confortable besides the bed, and often it happens that they run out of warm water. the food was very very good and staff was amazing, very...

This place is like being put into the heart of a lonely planet travel book. Not the usual tourist destination as it has some really interesting edges and a sense of exploration. It could be the fact its the last hotel on the last road into the Northern Sahara or that the owner was born in the desert and holds...

I love the Nomad Palace Hotel. I visit there regularly to relax and unwind from the stress of my work. The staff are wonderful. Any problem and Ali is ready to help. The food is plentiful and well cooked. I have just come back from a trip there, the rooms were clean, and extra blankets on hand as the nights...

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and do their best to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are large and clean with ensuites and extra blankets for cold nights. Food was great with heaps of fresh salads and fruits severed with every meal. It's location on the edge of the Sahara makes it easy to explore the...

Located a few miles outside of Merzouga (a nice walk along the base of the sand dunes into town is possible) on the "quieter side" of the Merzouga dune complex, it was a great place to stay. The staff very helpful, but not intrusive; the pool a great place to hang out. They picked us up right on time at...

One of the reasons our guide selected this hotel, was its proximity to the dune camps. It is only a hour camel ride away. The other hotels are two hours away, which is too long. The staff of the hotel were absolutely wonderful. They gave us a true Berber experience. Such heart warming people. They met our every need and...

We'd followed a loop to get an overview of Morocco - Casablanca, surf around Tagazout, snow in Okaimeden and riads of Marakech - so the desert was next. Stories of touts banging on the car and selling an overpriced night on a camel blanket in the open made us hyper alert as we neared Merzouga - sure of our important...

For our trip to Morocco this summer we had three nights that we didn’t book ahead of time; one of these nights was Merzouga and our desert excursion because even with reading all of the reviews, I still couldn’t make a decision. It turns out that there is actually no need to book ahead of time in the summer, as...
