Can not praise Dar Tafouyte highly enough. Everything about our visit was as it should be. We were traveling around the world in 2016 with an 11-year old. Booked the place on the phone while in Morocco, agreed a price that seemed very good value, but it was all correct. We were met in town, taken to our vast rooms...

I found this Dar to be an excellent base to experience the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel itself is very nice, with garden, terrasses and a pool. The bivouac night was also very well organized, with a comfortable camp and a very nice guide/camel master to bring you there. Dress warmly for the desert outing!!!! Night is cold...

We spent one night in the hotel and one night at the desert camp. The hotel is lovely with its incongruous, immaculate swimming pool with desert dune view. Our guide for our camel ride to the camp was interesting and interested. The camp was actually luxurious compared to my expectations with good food, entertainment, heating and electricity. Unfortunately my mum...

Myself and a friend stayed here for one night - and we were given what seemed to be a little house! A double room and a triple room, a bathroom and a lounge... For two people! Food was good, location near to the desert and sand dunes was excellent, views were great. Clean, with friendly staff. No wifi. Would visit...

Dar Tafouyte is amazing! Not only it sits on the Sahara desert, but it's right next to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, only a 15min walk. Staff if great, native berbers, super friendly and thoughtful, they'll make sure you're comfortable at all times. Food is good, very funny chef, his laugh would crack me up! :D Swimming pool, lounge area,...

Absolutely loved this riad. We hired them to take us to the desert also and that was really fun. The riad is beautiful, the food was good, the atmosphere peaceful and in general an amazing time. A definite repeater!

The owner at the front desk is very kind, always with a beautiful smile for the customer. We did the camel safari to the Sahara with them and it was a beautiful experience....

We spent 2 nights at the camp in the dessert. We rode there by camel (ap. 1.5 h) and arrived early enough at the camp to climb the dunes and watch the sunset. There was also the possibility of sandboarding. In the evening we had a very rich meal and they played the drums. The tents were comfortable and there...
