As you arrive here memories of old North African desert films flood the mind. The heat and dust of the journey gives way to the cool of a kasbah. A warm welcome and as you find your room you walk into the central quad revealing shaded seating, well maintained gardens and a very inviting pool area. The rooms are large...

It's an okay place to stay, but you can get better for less money. You have a bed and a warm shower so that's nice, but you can get that cheaper. The "extra's" which make this kasbah more expensive are not that great at all. The swimming pool is dirty and the food is pretty bad. Also, our toilet stopped...

My girlfriend and I traveled to Morocco from Chicago. We spent an afternoon relaxing by the pool at Hotel La Kasbah du Touareg, and Omar gave us wonderful hospitality. He brought us everything we asked for, and told us stories about his growing up in Merzouga. He was kind and took good care of us. Thank you! John

Very nice hotel with large, clean, 'desert' decorations; large, clean pool; dinner is included and was wonderful; breakfast, also included, was awful; staff/service good; if you are in Merzouga this hotel is great place to take a break; we met here for our camel trek and stayed when we returned.

Hassan Le Touareg, the owner of the Kasbah, is one of the very first entrepreneurs to receive the very first tourist in Merzouga. From one very small house he saved year after year and the result is a wonderful original Kasbah with all the needs you might have. Including a swimming pool, wifi and authentic rooms. He can also supply...

This hotel on the edge of the sand dunes is a good looking hotel with nice grounds and roomy rooms. When it comes to having a shower, the first person in wins hands down. The water is hot, but the drain was blocked and the second person could not shower for some hours til the water had drained away. The...

The rooms are okay, large and clean. Service is appalling. Food is okay. Bar is no existent (at least for anything containing alcohol). The swimming pool is used by some, but I did not dare. Courtyard is very different than the pictures (probably taken in the rainy season...).

My sister and I stayed there last year. The accomodation is very nice and the staff was very caring. They even helped us with some shopping in the city! Nice swimming pool and aire condition, which was a relief in the august heat. ;)

if you need real hotel next to dunes at Merzouga, this should be prime option. Easy access, parking.. nice rooms. Bit too much touristic and bit too expensive. But we use it often. Evenings in the garden are nice, especially when on of the white scorpions decide to explore new guests sitting around ;)

Room was ok, spacious bathroom, good working airco, swimming pool, good food, good buffet at breakfast. Only con was lack of attention to visitors, no offer visit sand dunes by camel or by quad, even after asking them. No wifi and tv in rooms. Only in common salon next to reception.

“We was 3 persons and the room + beds were large enough for 4 persons. There was also enough space to move in the room. Our room was in the south if we consider the hotel´s reception was in the north.”
