Following the review of Lonely Planet (which we suspect is not all that reliable in terms of restaurants) we were looking forward to our dinner here (we didn't stay in the hotel), but we were disappointed. Many of the dishes advertised were not available and those that were were rather heavy or uninteresting. Considering the hassle and cost of coming...

Auberge Dardara is magnificent but it would be hard to peg it as a certain type of hotel. It seems to cater for everybody without really caring who it caters for. When driving up to the gates, one is over powered by the smell of marijuana and that seems to the set the tone for the rest of the visit....

We did not stay at this property, we just had lunch here although the owner was kind enough to show us a couple of the rooms. The location is appx. 10 miles outside of Chefchaouen, but the setting is spectacular. The private property covers over 10 acres, and most, if not all, the food products come from the property. We...

This inn and restaurant are rustic and casual in a beautiful country/farm setting. The rooms are simple but comfortable with fireplaces and warm blankets when the nights may be chilly. I recommend staying on the main floor. The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. It's location is perfect for a visit to Chefchouan.

The auberge is superbly in the countryside and they have tremendous fresh boilogically made food! Unfortunately all the rooms are in blocks and (potentially) noisy. The pool was closed (although "year round" was quoted) and there wasn't any warm water to have a normal shower. Last but not least: the WiFi was like ... For the price we paid, we...

We were really excited to try this restaurant on the advice of the Lonely Planet. We were very disappointed- the restaurant doesn't have much atmosphere, probably not helped by the fact that we were the only ones in there. The waitress was miserable and not very helpful - not sure why if she had to only serve one group of...

Very good service and wonderful food. Stayed five nights in January. Then it's cold at night - but the rooms have thick warm blankets to snuggle down under, plus a fireplace that heats upp the room and creates fantastic coziness. Beautiful Moroccan crafts both in the rooms and restaurant / lobby. Many thanks to the friendly staff.

Stayed here for three days in early November. Knowing that most of our time would be spent in the city of Chefchauoen ( short taxi ride) we were looking to stay somewhere which would lets us experience some true Moroccan culture as compared to a touristy hotel. We made a good choice. The food was both excellent and of local...

A group of 5 of us flew in from the States and stayed here. Our stay was nothing less than fantastic. This coming from a picky eater, the food was sublime. Much of the food is grown on or around the Auberge and you can tell. The staff was always smiling and extremely helpful at all times. And the owner,...

outside of Chefchaouen town, it is situated in the middle of the mountains.. Calm & nature are the best words to describe it ! great bio food ! the owner knows everything about the region; all staff very nice and kind. I highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a "different" way of stay..
