mira beach itself was beautiful. clean sand, clear water, only few other people. baby sharks directly in front of the beach, nice snorkelling. it s as good as it gets. we lived in one of the older huts for the first 3 days and i have to say, they are very very basic. they are pretty small, its just a... I booked this accomodation mainly because of the beautiful beach. And the beach and it's setting was everything that I hoped it would be. Perfect calm beach, clear water, secluded and serene. The (very basic and simple) huts fits perfectly in the scenario, however staying in them was not that calm and serene... We stayed in hut # 3 located... More

Mira/ Keranji is a difficult place to sum up in a few words, it has some really good points and some things that really let it down. The first thing to mention is the condition of the huts vary hugely, there are a couple of huts that look new, clean and comfortable. However, there are quite a few that are... More

Formally known as mira beach you will have a secluded beach all to yourself. A place to chill out for sure but there isn't much to do. You are about a 20 min walk from coral bay which has more restaurants and accommodations. Service - No issues with service, friendly and helpful as needed - Note: they may not be... More

Chalets are simple, clean and right at the beach. MIRA beach is amazingly beautiful, nothing beats. Food are average, staff are helpful and friendly. You will feel like home. Stayed at beach front No:2 right on the beach. shared toilet was clean. Snorkelling was ok, 3 small coral reefs with fishes. Greeted by a pair of naby black tip sharks... More

New name of Mira Beach is Keranji Beach Resort, just in case you don't find it on a map. I really like that place...a quiet small beach with small wooden bungalows directly on the beach, with a friendly helpful family/staff. I love their animal - An Otter! I really want one Otter at home. You can see lizards and monkeys... More

Mira beach was our absolute favorite place in Malaysia, we were so impressed with the view from our chalet and the friendliness of staff and other guests. It was a home away from home. The pet otter was gorgeous and made our trip unforgettable, we still say that we miss him! we want a pet otter! The toilets and showers... More

Loved our stay at Mira Beach! We had a little problem at check in (as mentioned with previous reviewers) with them saying that our room was given to someone else but after a few hours we managed to check in to the room we had booked! The food is excellent , The beach is beautiful and if youre looking for... More

One of the last remaining hippie-style resorts from yesteryear, the cabins in this place are very rustic but functional, with large beds, mosquito nets, windows facing different sides, most of the small chalets with relatively unobstructed views of the pretty cove on which it is set, with its teal and aquamarine waters. Electricity and internet are only available from the... More

We stayed on coral beach for a few nights and then at Mira beach resort. The majority of accommodation on the island is on Coral bay or Long beach, which is where all the restaurants and bars are also. However, there is a little restaurant at this resort. The beach is stunning with no one else on it apart from... More
