Having searched for rooms on this beach we didn't have much luck as we couldn't book anything prior to us arriving, so we just had to hope for the best! We searched up and down the beach but they were charging crazy prices for some really disgusting shaks! We finally found this place... yay! Our room was overlooking the sea...

I stayed in chalet number 15 for 3 nights. My room was pretty clean and my mattress was in a good condition. I paid 50 rm/night . For 50 rm i think it is a good place to stay in. Toilets and shower were clean. Cons: @Sound of the music till 3am but it was not very loud and i...

When writing a review I'll always mention the positives even when it's hard to find any and this unfortunately is one of those cases . We paid 120 RG per night for a wooden hut with private bathroom . If the price had been 60 RG for example then I'd recommend this place as you don't expect a lot.for that...

If your a true backpacker and obviously on a budget then outside of sleeping in a tent, then this place is the place for you (with the plus of having a great view from being on a hill). You get a clean hut, a good bed (with a mosquito net) and a fan (and i suppose something you might call...

The accommodation is basic but as is all the budget accommodation on the island. During our stay over 5 nights the accommodation was clean and the facilities were always clean and usable. The price again is excellent value, the views are stunning and despite having just a bed and a shelf in the room, there's nothing else you really need!...

Very good accommodation for the island standards. The double room was 80myr with shared shower and toilet. We moved here from Panorama which charged 150 with a private bathroom but was dirty and smelly. This place was clean, comfortable and the owners were very friendly! We didn't mind having shared facilities as it meant the room was clean (they have...

This is quite back-to-basics. RM80/night for a wooden hut-room (double, fan) with private bathroom, electricity runs from 7pm to 7am daily. Lovely view of the sea as the huts are spaced out on the hill. Be prepared to share your room with a couple of lizards, a community of mozzies and a skinny ginger cat that wanders in whenever it...

Room was reasonable price since i was looking for cheapest price in island. Do not expect to much facilities since it only cost you around RM60 for 2 persons occupancy.Location is very strategic even though located at long beach, you can go to choral beach by walking for 5 minutes only !! Located just behind the beach bar, you will...

I stayed elsewhere on the island but came here everyday to catch up with friends. They are up the hill behind Matahari and get a fantastic view & cool breeze from the restaurant area ( NB: the restaurant is NOT open for serving food). The family are super friendly & relaxed - they lent my friends an adapter for the...

We stayed in a double room with ensuite. The rooms are basic but good enough with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach from the veranda (the chalets are about 100m back from the beach up a little hill so have great views). Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 7 nights so they gave us a...

“Any place is fine. Lovely. Better than Tropicana, Matahari chalets or anything on the island. The fact that the landlord is Irish gives the place a greater value: she can understand us, with our European culture. She is not running after money, although she could rise up the price of her chalets. It is sad though that the bar/restaurant was closed...”
