Simple chalet with reasonable price. DO NOT buy the full board package! It is the worst package compared to those in Redang. The food is OK, but we were not given any options. The serving is very small and we were served the same fried mixed vege for lunch & dinner for 2 days. The BBQ is lousy. We got...

Heard many feedback about this place, so I went. The food is good, but the service is quite simple, even the waiters are trying to show a high class. Do not over expect, just enjoy the sea view and spicy food.

This place is basic but just what we needed! We where of snorkeling and diving every day so we did not have to spend that much time in the challet. The challet is very basic and we had the one with a fan it was very warm during the day but at night no problem. The staff is very friendly...

It is basic accommodation but the A/C room has everything you need for few days in the island, it is one of the cheapest in the main beach and pretty clean. It has great location at the end of the main beach so it is easy to reach everything but you have your privacy at the same time. It is...

Enjoyed a 3 night stay in Mama's Chalet. We had a basic fan chalet with its own shower and toilet - in good working order. No breakfast included but one of the more affordable places on perhentian besar. Friendly and helpful staff also. We mainly chilled, explored the beaches and went snorkelling. It's a quiet family-oriented island. No wifi.

I stayed there for 4 nights for diving trip. The forest view chalet with a fan was run-down and could use renovation, but bedding was clean, and staff & manager were helpful. It was one of the more economic choice on the quieter Besar Island, but next time would probably stay in another place in Kecil.

The accommodation is basic but adequate. Cold showers, wood floors and a wall fan. Our family stayed for 3 nights and ate about half our meals in the restaurant where the meals were tasty and good value. The staff are friendly in the typical reserved malaysian manner. My one minor gripe was that the wifi did not work the whole...

We were not accomodated in this place, but we were eating here and used their travel services. Restaurant: all meals are cheapest in location, but very tasty. Staff is very friendly and we really loved to eat in here. Only disadvantage was BBQ. The quality of fish was very good but prices were simply ridiculous. The price of fresh fish/prawn/squid...

Chalets are really nice.. Don't expect much but the basic requirements. Beach near is not good due to dead corals but you can go for jungle trekking and beach near cozy chalets is very nice. 20 min trekking. You can also visit perhentian island resort beach, which is again 10-15 min walk distance. Mr. aziz is very helpful and He...

Mamas is a great spot if you need a comfy bed in a nice chalet. The rooms are very basic but are clean and spacious. Best to arrive on the day as we got a reduced rate after asking to see the room first. Great beaches nearbye and lots of nice places to eat. Even wifi in the place next...

“Prefer the rooms with airconditioning. It's much more comfortable especially after a long day under the sun + before the electricity cut you can "refresh" your room a little so that it's not too hot if you want to stay in.”

“Garden view cabins with fan are very good value, a few have shade on the balcony all day, I wouldn't like that, it was nice to enjoy some sun which didn't make it too hot because there was constantly some breeze.”

“If you ask for a room with the porch facing the ocean, you might be able to glimpse a little blue water through the other rooms. The rooms closer to the dive shop are a bit noisier during the day, as you'll have to listen to the generator filling the air tanks. I'd suggest a place closer to the restaurant.”
