Good foods and nice rooms with natural ambience. Nice coral right in front of the hotel and at night, we can also watch the Stars in the sky. Excellent services and hospitality, Good foods and very relaxing holiday. All snorkeling gears are provided for free.

I stayed for 3 nights in June as part of a group of 8 including 4 teenage kids. The ferry check in procedure at Mersing was a bit disorganised. We found out we had to pay for an additional marine park levy of RM25/person (RM10 for Malaysians). Make sure you arrive an hour ahead to deal with all this. The... More

I traveled in June 17 to June 20th. We were warmly welcomed in Genting Bay to Bagus place by speed boat. The location was stunning. Can't describe how it feels getting there. Staffs were really nice and helpful. Food was great. Rooms / facilities everything was nice. However snorkeling near Bagus is not enjoyable as the water was murky. The... More

Stayed at Bagus Retreat for 4 nights and it was a perfect get away. The accommodation was charming and charismatic. Comfortable and private rooms and the view from the room we had was lovely across the bay and reef. The location on the small bay and at the base of the mountains is stunning and we spent a lot of... We stayed at Bagus Place for most of our honeymoon in March 2016, and we loved the place ! We had booked only 3 nights but ended up staying for 9 days because we had such a nice time. In that way we got to try out 3 of the bungalows, and all of them was equally great. They were... More

Bagus place offers a very unique retreat. When you reached here, you are meant to immerse yourself into the ocean and enjoy the paradise island life. Wifi is limited and TV is only available at the lounge area, but trust me, you don't need those at here. The Jetty here is the longest and it moves towards the deeper ocean,... More

I don't think I've ever had a more relaxing holiday than Bagus Place. We stayed for 7 nights, and until we arrived had wondered if that may be a little long. In fact, we could have stayed longer. From the moment we were met at Genting jetty, we felt like part of the warm Bagus family. The location is stunning,... More

It was one of our best vacations ever. Bagus Place is amazing. It feels like you are part of one big happy family. The Chalets are hidden away in the trees. It all looks very authentic and very nice. Last weekend was probably the first time since I first used a mobile phone sometime in 2001 that I didn't feel the need to constantly check the phone. The phone line coverage was intermittent and no internet connection whatsoever. Not a bad thing, though. We really enjoyed our stay and the kids had better things to do rather than glued... More
