Again, this was an overnight stay and we would have benefited from a longer one. We had a nice room, spacious, with French windows overlooking the beach and the sea beyond. A big double bed and a decent sized bathroom were also available. There was a separate restaurant and bar, open-sided which gave a nice breeze, and lovely staff. We...

Having visited Nautilus in July, we arrived and there was a problem with our booking however the staff insured that everything was sorted out very quickly and were very helpful! The food was very good standard and we were welcomed by a show of dancers which was very nice! Nice pool, very pretty view although the rooms were quite basic,...

Hoping for a relatively luxurious beach vacation- instead got a hellish heat box while the French Madame owner was happy to collect our 400 euro bill. Also false advertising, website pictures show gorgeous beach property, whereas in reality the Madame has gated off the beach with unsightly rocks and fencing. The beach itself is dirty and not usable anywhere near...

This must be one of the oldest hotels in Ifaty and it shows. The small rooms are outdated and have this tired feeling. Nothing dramatic but they just show their age. There is aircon but electricity is limited (as almost everywhere in Madagascar) so no aircon at night. There is wifi in the dining area but only when the restaurant...

This is a hotel at Ifaty. I was in south of Madagascar in september and i was there for some days for work. The choice was good. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff was very nice with us and Nathalie was very kind. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing time.

Spent two nights only (too short!) in this wonderful hotel built on the dunes of Ifaty. Beautiful architecture with cave-like rooms on the beach; very welcoming and effective staff; unique swimming pool; very good food and generous tasting of rhum arrange; old and 'tired' but clean bed sheetings and towels; good wifi connection at the bar during meals time. Overall,...

This hotel has many great things to offer. We spent two days here with our children (ages 11 and 13), and we really enjoyed ourselves. We did the spiny forest zebu cart tour and the whale watching excursion. Both were terrific. Our guide for the spiny forest tour was a wealth of information. The biggest surprise about Le Nautilus was...

Very good food and excellent swimming pool you will find there. Nice almost like a cave rooms with beach front, you can dive you can relax however better have your own car / transport as there is quite plenty to do around - rate ok with AC included. All you can eat lunch menu a bit overpriced.

The combination of the site, the architecture, (piscine à débordement, desert garden) and the quality of service are remarkable. We were lucky with(out) mozzies and the owner's son speared a 20 kg. fish in the lagoon. (the reef is closer than at other resorts and probably will have easier access for divers). I would have willingly stayed another day to...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group. The location is stunning, right on the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable but electric supply is on and off at set times. Not a problem though as they provide battery lamps in the bedrooms. Food was excellent, especially the fish. Try the flavoured rums that sit on the...
