We had an amazing experience @ candles camp. We arrived in Rum village around 4.30pm and were picked up with a jeep. We could leave our car in the vicinity of Rum village. He drove us into the desert where he stopped to have us experience the sunset in the desert; a great experience! After witnessing the sunset we were taken to the camp. The tents are nice and cosy and the shared bathroom is very clean. We had typical bedouin dinner (delicious!) and excellent tea. They lighted the bonfire and they/we sang for several hours. It’s one of these “once in a lifetime experiences” I would recommend to everyone. We also booked a half day jeep tour the day after which we also liked very much!

We were there for 3 days, two of them full day tour. The camp was so good, and the rooms and the toilets were very cleaned. They are always ready if you need something. Ahmed was the cocker and who took care the camp, was very friendly. Mohamed, our guide, make for us the best days in the desert, he explains all the things very good and he speaks English. Was so nice to be with him all the days. We recommend this camp 100%! We will come back for sure!

I spent in Candles Camp 2 nights with my friends. Food was very good! Trip around Wadi Rum desert was the best!!! Our guide was excellent, very friendly and helpful. He cooked for us very delicious dinner during the trip. I really recommend!

Spent a weekend in Candles Camp leading a yoga retreat - amazing experience. Mahdi and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was happy and had a good time. We took over the camp and practiced yoga outside in the sand and in the big, beautiful community tent as well. Evenings were spent by the fire sharing music with the Bedouins. Unforgettable. Was also at the camp a few months before with a few families and our little children. The staff was amazing and patient with the kids.

We felt very welcome in the camp by everyone, the food and the rooms were OK. And the Jeep tour and the guide Musayef were great!! I recommend it, if you come during the winter months prepare accordingly, as during the night it is very cold.
