Our camp is located deep inside Wadi Rum Protected Area and is nestled between two mountains, boasting the best views of both the sunrise and the sunset. The spacious private tents contain two single beds which can be moved, complete with mattresses, pillows, and as many blankets you need. Modern Western toilet facilities. The prices are including full-day tours and all fresh cooked meals. If you would prefer to sleep under the stars, we can also facilitate this. In our jeeps, we can drive you to any part of Wadi Rum desert where we will build a fire to sit around, until the stars come out and you fall asleep in the blankets and matresses we can provide.

An unforgettable experience, the desert always has its own reason which must be experienced with the right spirit. Impeccable organisation, the guide prepared lunch for us in a remote corner of the desert in the shade, at the end of the day he left us alone in a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Tent camp with a magnificent welcome and full moon night. Leaving made us melancholy

We stayed 2 nights in this camp and had a great time. We chose this camp because of its remote location and small scale and were really happy we did. The camp lies at the foot of an impressive cliff and there are no other camps in sight, which means no lightpollution for stargazing. The scenery is breathtaking and I recommend staying the extra night. The people who run the camp and host the tours are lovely and the cook is amazing. Some of the best food we had on our trip. The camp is clean and comfy, with a good bed, lots of blankets, warm showers and a cosy common tent. The jeeptour was great, with only 4 people per jeep and driver Mohammed was funny and kind. If you want a smaller scale place that doesn't feel overly touristy I highly recommend staying here.

Of all my recent travels, I think the most memorable trip to Jordan will be the 2 days and 1 night with the Wadi Rum Nature Tour. The tour starts in the morning and takes you on a desert off-road ride in the back of a truck, visiting about 10 spots. Among the 10 places, there are some with nice scenery, filming locations related to movies, valleys where you can go for a simple hike, etc. Although each spot was not very physically demanding, after visiting all 10 spots, I felt somewhat tired despite having a lot of sports and hiking experience. If you are physically challenged, I believe the guide will be able to coordinate your itinerary well.
We camped at the last spot to watch the sun set. The guide and his family cooked Jordanian food and served us. Afterwards, we laid down two mattresses in the desert and slept. The Milky Way was so clearly visible to the naked eye that it was such a beautiful sight that we couldn't sleep until late at night because we were so busy watching it.
The entire tour was very informative, and the guide was very friendly. There were no hygiene or other problems (for the two men) while staying one night in the desert, and I think people who enjoy camping will enjoy it very much. I really recommend it!

If you want to have a one-of-a-kind experience and truly immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the desert, this is the tour for you. 4x4 tour in jeep + overnight stay. Thanks to the boy who accompanied us during this excursion we were able to admire all the wonders that this desert has to offer and much more. Freshly prepared lunch in the desert, a dinner cooked in the sand and a fire lit during the night around which to chat. The agency that organizes the tour is always present via email for all your questions, clarifications or to organize transfers. I wouldn't change anything. Highly recommended. Thank you for this experience

We were in Wadi Rum to make a film (not for tourism). Careful research is part of our extensive preparation - and this company very much fitted our exact needs. Radi (owner) was good with his initial communication (excellent English). He also met us on arrival, then checked that everything was going well each night after dark.
Our main needs were to film at good locations, but keeping away from the noise of tourists/vehicles/camps (not that easy because Wadi Rum is nowadays very popular). Khalid was our driver/guide and he did an excellent job in meeting our requirements, quickly understanding the lighting conditions we needed.
We slept under the stars. Despite it being towards the end of November, with a cold spell, we were nevertheless warm under the thick blankets provided. Two of us are in our early 50s, with the other in his mid 60s - so not the usual ages for rough camping.
If anyone reading this review is a keen photographer, for example, we can 100% recommend Radi's Wadi Rum Nature Tours. Equally so, if you want to experience the quieter parts of this Protected Area, they won't let you down.
We actually met four members of the family, all of whom were great. They have good standards and take a pride in offering a very good service.
Thank you Radi and Khalid. All went well and we are currently busy editing the film.

When you are going for the first time in Jordan, especially in the Wadi Rum desert, it can be sometimes difficult to choose a place to stay and , because how many persons there are, as many ideas you may find. So, instead of starting reading a lot of reviews, we have searched a few tour organisers and tried to understand which one offers the most and interesting things to do. For us the best option was Wadi Rum Nature Tours, for two reasons: the description from their web page was the most complete and the thing that was decisive, the collaboration with mr. Radi, the contact person and organiser of this tour. I have sent at least 10 emails with a lot of questions regarding the tour, the extra activities (like riding the camels, sleeping under the stars, etc.), the prices (which we have negotiated due the fact we were a group of 7 and due the fact that we needed 2 nights and also a hike on the highest mountain in Jordan (Jebel Um Adaami (1,854 m) and everytime i had a quick response in a very good written english, explaining me step by step what is going to happen and how and when. So, after receiving answers to all my questions, along with my friends we have decided that this should be our pick. And it was FANTASTIC! Mr. Yousef was our driver, mechanic, guide, cook, hike guide and friend in the end and it counted a lot to our experience. Other than this, we were very surprised to find excellent conditions at the camp (tents and bath included), we were delighted with the food (3 meals per day for 2 days), with the general atmosphere created by our hosts around the camp fire, between the mountains in the desert... The location is perfect, if you ask me. If you need something loud, this is not the place for you. It's hard to describe in words how we felt in our 2 night stay, thanks to mr. Radi, to his collaborators, but mostly thanks to Yousef "Kind Desert". If you are going hiking, please take in consideration that Jabal Umm ad Dami is near the border with Saudi Arabia (which you can see in a clear day) and it takes some time to get there. The good news is that, you need no more than 3 hours to complete the hike if experienced. If you are a novice, 4 hours it should be more than enough, with photos and some relaxation in the top included. We have paid when everything was over, thing agreed with mr. Radi when we first spoke. Overall, it was the best choice and if we ever go back to Jordan, we will definitely stay in the same place, trying to cover some more ground. Although we were 2 nights there, i think we could have stayed at least 2-3 more without getting bored. I wish all of you a fantastic 2020 and if you go to Jordan, i hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

I picked Wadi Rum Nature Tours after contacting several camps. Radi was always available through email and text. Every single person starting from the wonderful guides to the one who dropped me to take the local van in the morning were incredibly kind and showed us true Bedouin hospitality. I was travelling solo and they suggested that I and another solo girl share a room if we want so we dont have to pay JOD 10 extra. They also didn't try to give us wrong information about the morning local van trying to make us take a taxi. In fact, they took us there and waited with us till the van showed up. Our lovely driver for the morning said that he would wait incase the van doesnt come, so he can take us back to the camp and we can figure it out from there. This review is coming quite late, so I apologise for that! Also, the food is so so delicious!

The Nature Tours people treated us with tea and cookies upon arrival, offered a hot shower and great traditional food. The lodging was cozy and the stargazing at night was incredible. The campsite has the perfect backdrop for it, dramatically secluded in a narrow gorge. The guide was super friendly, funny and spoke English very well. 5 stars for the tour and the lodging! Given the uniquess of the experience, I would say this still is a bargain for that budget price. Go for it!

Truly amazing place. Spacious, clean, friendly and great location, good food. Located at entry of small canyon which made it very impressive. Radi was very very helpful and clear, communicated first by email in perfect english to help us organise our trip the way we liked it, he provided us with lots of up to date information. Everything went very smoothly, all pick ups and logistics were well arranged. The jeeptrips were great, good jeeps with great guides going out of their way to give us a memorable experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you!
