Our first stay and it was great. Three generations of family enjoyed good food, good service, and excellent rooms/tents. As to Gabriel's ridiculous "review" (below) his first two points totally contradict one another. All the rest are belied by the bald advertisement for a competitor.

My family and I have stayed at Sun City Camp multiple times and every time our stay has been amazing! The accommodations are clean and very comfortable and the staff always aims to please. We've made a few special requests that the staff have always been pleased to fulfill. The food is also always AMAZING!!! Our last visit was May 21-23 and we had a great stay, once again! Thank you Sun City, you're our favorite!!

I spent one night at Sun City Camp and I must say it was deeply disappointing. I'd been told by experts that this was one of the very best camps in the Wadi. Perhaps in it's day it was, but my stay was anything but spectacular. In fact, I went to this property on a business trip, to conduct a site inspection for a group I would be returning with in December. Without a doubt, we will not use the property. PRO's: 1. The rooms were wonderful, very comfortable That's it CON's 1. No sense of arrival. Staff literally did not say a word nor greet me. 2. Camp was virtually empty yet they put me into a Martian tent directly behind a family utilizing two tents, make lots of noise. They parked their car next to the tent which ruined the experience. 3. There was a dog at the camp that was not controlled, running around, barking at all hours and when I returned to my tent after dinner, the dog followed me. Not good. 4. Service at best was bad, not existent. Not once did a staff member speak to me or ask me if I wanted anything. 5. Dinner was by far the worst meal I had in Jordan all week. It was not edible, especially the red meat. 6. Breakfast was to begin at 8:00 AM. At 8:05 AM there was no sign of action. Some cold cuts placed out but nothing else. Not a single hot meal nor any sight of staff. We eventually just left and had breakfast in Aqaba. 7. Location is not ideal for a remote experience. It's directly across from another large camp and just off the main road. I don't know if this hotel has become a victim of the pandemic, but it's clear they are in serious trouble. Who is operating this camp and why is it in shambles? I was truly saddened that this property did not live up to its exceptions. If you are looking at a camp in the Wad, check out Memories Aicha. They get it.
