This is an authentic Bedouin experience. 1- The location is great and very authentic. It is maybe the deepest you can get in the valley (as a tourist). Just what you need to spend two days in the desert. The bathroom is relatively clean but can be improved. 2- Food is not bad, but you should not be there for...

After living in Jordan for 18 years and seeing the various tourist sites that the country has to offer, Wadi Rum is still my favorite. This camp in particular is really fun to go to. Khaled, the guy who sets it all up, is a great guy and will take good care of you and he speaks english (mostly). We...

From my first email contact with Khaled in Wadi Rum from our home in California, I felt in good hands. If you're up for a rustic unplugged desert experience in incomparable beauty, look no further. Winter in the desert was way colder than I expected (bring your down coat, hat and gloves) but the warm welcome led to a fantastic...

I have been in Wadi Rum more than once for short and longer periods and I am well-familiar with at least 10 different Bedouin camps if not more. When I visited Rumshines I would never ever thought about to go somewhere else. The site is STUNNING, the best sunset spot you can ever imagine. The whole team is educated, very...

Wadi Rum is wonderful place. Majestic nature, exseptional contrast of colors and sensations. And the best place to start the trip is the Rumshines. The boys in the camp are very hospitable. I would like to be there again.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon and evening in Rumshines camp. When we arrived in Wadi Rum town Khaled and Adel were waiting for us and we embarked on a 3 hour jeep tour of Wadi Rum. We arrived in camp and were greeted with hot tea flavoured with rosemary and shown to our tents. The tents are basic, but more than...

I've spent 2 nights in Rumshines camp. There is a huge rock formation just behind the camp, from where you can watch the sunset. The conditions were nice and comfortable. Both the jeep and walking tour were very well done. Most important, however, our hosts Khaled and his team were fantastic. They welcomed us and took good care of us....

We spent 2 nights in Rumshines camp with Khaled and his brothers. They welcomed us with home-made bedouin tea, magical stories about the desert and a stunning sunset. The camp has a perfect location and the hosts make every effort to make you feel at home and enjoy the incredible ambiance of Wadi Rum.
