We (a friend and I) did a 4 day,3 nights tour with Wild Wadi Rum. We had a superb time. Because we had enough time to explore the desert, we could do things on our pace. Salman arranged the booking very quickly, his father was our experienced guide. They can customize your visit to your needs. We wanted to explore...

I just got back from a week-long trip in Jordan where I spent 2 nights-3 days in the desert with "Wild Wadi Rum". We were a group of 8 travelling from Sweden on holiday. Salam and his brothers were extremely helpful from the initial contact. Their responses to our inquires were quick and they immediately asked if we had dietary...

A group of friends did a 3 day, 2 night tour in Wadi Rum and it was a fantastic experience. The planning was clear and well-organized by Salman and the camp hosts were very hospitable and welcoming. Our guides Ali and Mohammed were very knowledgable and accommodating. We had some rain overnight so our hiking plans needed to be changed...

I spent a couple of days in Wadi Rum with 16 friends. We arrived late and was picked up by and driven through the desert by the Bedouins until we arrived at the camp. There we sat around a bonfire and enjoyed some Bedouin tea. Salman and his family were the most friendly people and took great care of us....

I visited Atieeg family camp with a group of quite demanding adventurers. Some of my friends told me they favour Wild Wadi Rum camp over luxury camp we visited night before. Wild Wadi Rum facilities may be rustic for European standard, but you can find here pretty much everything you need at desert camp. There is shower, quiet double/triple chalets,...

Three of us spent an amazing two days spent in Wadi Rum with extremely hospitable hosts Salman and Hussein. They took us to all the main sites in a Jeep and let us go on hikes whenever we felt like it. We then opted to stay the night in their family's Bedouin tent rather than the usual camp. We got...

I have stayed with Salman, Ali and their family for three weeks. My experience with them was amazing. I am from Canada, and the Bedouin culture was completely new to me. They showed me the desert and the love they have for it. They took me around to their thousands of cousins and uncles, and we probably had millions of...

It was a privileged to spend quite a bit of time with Salman and his wonderful family, they treated me like their own family even though I am from a very different culture. My experience was miraculous, i was staying in the traditional Bedouin tent with Salman's grandmother in the dessert, she took care of me like her own kid,...

We were happy to meet Eid and his son Salman. A week before our visit we have planed our journey to Wadi-Rum with Salman. He gave us a good price. Finally everything was like it expected to be: the car was good, the experienced guide, tasty traditional lunch and tea. Eid showed us the most beautiful places in desert. We...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Desert Campsites: We have two beautiful desert campsites. It is set beneath Jebel Araqqa with great sunset views to the west across a wide sandy valley. In addition to our private tents with both single and double beds and all sleeping equipment, the camp features a kitchen and state-of-the-art bathroom facilities, including sinks, western-style toilet and shower with hot water. Our traditional, long, black Bedouin tent, woven from goat hair, comfortably seats even large groups on its comfortable carpets, cushions and pillows. The tent faces a large rock outcropping under which you may choose to sleep when the weather is nice. Many of our jeep, camel and hiking tours include nights in this camp, during which we also cook generous Bedouin meals. ... more   less
