Loved the remote desert location. Friendly and helpful hosts. Climbing, camel rides, 4x4 adventures, sand dunes Shower and toilet facilities were a bit primitive, but sufficient. Plenty of food, comfortable single beds in canvas huts, but I slept more under the 1000 stars.

The experience of the desert was fabulous. Rainbow Camp is extremely well run. Just remembers its camping and not a 5 star hotel. There are the basics (but I have done extreme basic and this was better than I had anticipated). The food was excellent. The Bedouin people certainly know how to look after you. Nothing is too much trouble.... More

I stayed 2 nights, in the Rainbow Camp, it's an amazing experience, the landscapes are absolutely unbelievable. The hospitality of Mubarak, and all his team is more professional than certain hotels says standart. The food is perfect, solar lights in the tents, hot water in the common bathrooms. Stay minimum of 2/3 nights to discover all the mysteries of Wadi... More

Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived in the evening just before sunset and left the next morning after breakfast. Our tour guide mentioned that the desert gets very hot during the day and hence staying here day time was not recommended. The tents are basic with twin beds with cots. 2 blankets are provided as it gets quite cold in... More

Suleiman and his camp made an amazing impression on me. We stayed in the camp for two nights. We were left alone to to what we wanted but also able to join the locals for a great evening where we listened to live traditional music, and amazing meals including the true Bedouin style, cooking the meat (goat) under the ground.... In October we spent a day and night in the most spectacular desert I have ever seen, a perfectly red desert!! It was our choice to choose a low key camp which was absolutely perfect and so authentic in the environment. The owners of the camp , Suliman and Mubarak were so kind and hospitable making our stay in their... More

I spent a few days at Rainbow Camp and while the scenery surrounding the camp was spectacular, I can not give kudos to the owners for the quality and variety of meals served. If you like grilled chicken, then that may be your only redeeming food endeavour. Breakfast was terrible - no coffee. Lack of service and attention was another... More

I stayed here in August and was spellbound by Wadi Rum- and I credit Rainbow Camp for part of that! The location of the camp was amazing, the hosts were very welcoming, and everything was clean and comfortable. Do not hesitate to book here! Thanks to the previous reviewer who posted Suliman's phone number (962-77-6546470), as it was the best... More

Ali took care of us and went over and beyond. The food was plentiful and delicious. Suleiman came by the next morning to meet us and welcome us to his camp. The jeep ride was fun. All in all a fantastic, relaxing night in the desert. Highly, highly recommended.

Contact brothers Suleman and Mobarak who operate Rainbow Camp year-round at 077 654 6470. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that asks for tips for where to stay in Wadi Rum. Did a bit of morning yoga on the rocks overlooking the valley with the desert breeze in my face. It was an... More
