We spent 2 nights at full moon camp in July 2012. "Full moon" camp is surely the place were you can have genuine Rum desert experiences. Tyseer & Abdul (brothers) are bedouins born in the Rum desert for several generations. They know life in desert and love their country. Talks with them are delightful. The camp is located 5 km...

This was an amazing experience! It was so much better than we expected! I absolutely loved it! And would go back anytime. I think the location of the camp is perfect, it;s surrounded by rocks, nice sunset, quiet and clean. There was a good bunch of people in the camp that night, and it was a full moon. So romantic...

Wadi Rum is definite must see In Jordan. However, go with a different camp as this one was terrible. We were left alone in the camp for hours with young children with limited resources. Although dinner was provided but that was it. My wife had no food as she is vegetarian. They knew this but forgot. They drove us into...

you can see a very nice truck on their website. Too bad, that is not for you. The truck they used to take us around was almost fall apart. We were amazed to see that the truck still could move. The driver bearly speaks English. All he told us was " this is No.2". He means NO. 2 on the...

Thank you to Tyseer and his team from the Full Moon Camp for two wonderful days at the Full Moon Camp and wished that I had more time to stay there for a couple of days. The service and attention were excellent starting with the communication about options for a last minute stay for a single traveller. The reception at...

We have hired the services of Tyseer ( tour in 4x4 + dinner + accommodation + breakfast) via Internet and we negotiated a price which was quite convincing. When we arrived at Wadi Rum, he told us that the tour would be longer and it would cost 10JD more. Although we didn´t find this last minute change correct (either necessary),...

From the start, the welcome is warm and genuine with Rum Stars. They are very happy to tailor any tour to suit your needs and interests and the guides I met are great. They are all Bedouin and have grown up in Wadi Rum and know all the best sites. For me the best part is the desert camp. The...

Even as a single female travellor, I had a fantastic visit to Wadi Rum and stay at the Full Moon Camp, made possible by Tyseer. I was a bit apprehensive about spending a night alone in a camp in the desert, but he made me feel very comfortable.. I experienced all the beautiful sights of Wadi Rum , did a...

The thing that makes the Full Moon Camp lovely is Tyseer and his family. They are so friendly and accommodating. On our first night there we arrived very late due to a transport problem and had not been able to contact them (due to a problem with our phone). Tyseer was so friendly considering what a pain we had been,...
