Nan house - an authentic Vietnamese homestay, bears the imprint of the rustic Vietnamese village and lies in the heart of the tourist area, the world cultural heritage Trang An - Tam Coc - Bich Dong Ninh Binh. Here, you can find the childhood moments of the Vietnamese’70s with the thatched roof, surrounded by ripe rice fields, mossy mountains, and sky-blue fish ponds. The accommodation rooms are separate and covered by bamboo and lots of flowers, creating a lovely garden hence a pleasant space which makes it a great place to relax, blend with nature and find balance in life after weary days. Nan House has a large outdoor swimming pool and children’s playground Every antique detail is distinctly recreated from the smallest items such as hammock, thatched roof or the cork hut on the lotus lake, ... You don't have to go back in time, because there is a Vietnamese countryside of the good old days not far from Hanoi, giving you a truly peaceful feeling. The scenery of Nan House produces pictures of the beloved nature, yet the space inside the rooms creates a sense of luxury and privacy with modern, high-end furniture. Nan House is a harmonic combination of the ancient and the modern, the past and the present with rustic style of design and decoration, that brings travelers the best experience especially for Vietnamese-culture lovers. Nan house contains: ·Private rooms with views of mountains; ripped paddy – field, flowers garden and pagodas ·A dreamlike log cabin in the middle of the lotus lake.

I have really enjoyed my time at Nan House thanks to the coziness of this place as well as the host’s willingness to help me with everything I need. Have to say she was one of the kindest and cheerful people I’ve met. Wish I could stay there for a little bit longer.

My husband and I spent a weekend here. The best feature of this property is the owners. They were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. It is also close to town so it's a short walk or bike ride to grab a bite to eat or coffee. The homestay offers free bikes to use and you can rent a motorbike for the day for 120,000 dong. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I hate to deduct a few stars since the owners are so lovely but I think it's important to honestly report our experience to help other travelers make an informed choice when they pick a place to stay. The floor is very sloped. We joked about who wanted to sleep uphill. The hot water ran out before we finished showering. There is construction going on next door that starts at 7:30 am so we weren't able to sleep in. Lastly, the view of the karsts is marred by a huge concrete factory. It's our first visit to the area so I am not sure where I would choose to stay instead but if you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a stunning view I would choose elsewhere. If you want a clean, well-maintained, tastefully decorated place close to town with lovely owners, you will be very happy here.

Nan house is a lovely home stay in ninh binh, just a 5 minute cycle from the boating station in Tam Coc town. The rooms are modern, clean and come with a lovey complimentary foot bath. We booked a room with a mountain view which was beautiful, the balcony looks on to some of ninh binhs beautiful landscape. The restaurant was great and the food delicious, with a great view to go along side it. The neighbourhood is cute and quiet, quintessentially Vietnamese. I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent two nights here in early October. We should have stayed a week. It was fantastic. The room was huge and so was the bathroom with a huge bath tub. Wifi was fast and worked well. The breakfast was scrumptious and the dining area overlooks a padi field. Very serene and peaceful. The balcony in the room was a welcome feature in the evening for a few beers. Some of the staff were not fluent in English but Google Translate easily bridged the gap. However the owner Ms Ha speaks excellent English and her replies to my email enquires were very prompt. One evening as I walked past the kitchen the staff even invited me to join them for evening tea. How's that for hospitality? Our thanks to Ms Ha and her cousin for making our stay a memorable one. We look forward to our next stay with you.
