Terrible… reception was nice but not helpful x The bathroom was just… ew. Not clean and the shower head sprayed water all over the place. The water then pooled on the sides of the bath and was literally a waterfall onto the floor. It never dried so we had to be very careful not to slip each time we went to the loo. The worst part was the smell… it smelt SO strongly of sushi in our room. We opened the windows and door and the smell wouldn’t go away. EW. I don’t usually write reviews but this time I needed to! Otherwise others will stay at this ‘luxury’ hotel and be disappointed. Pleaseeeeee find ANYWHERE else. :) The only good thing was the rooftop bar. It was a nice view and the staff member who served us was super nice :) :) :) thank you dude who made this the only nice highlight :) …
Bad experiences with Sales team also with Receptionist - One lady receptionist I highlight complain her attitude and services she gave to us, I did sent email to them but no one answer for clarification and even one acknowledge email did not come to me. besides breakfast is so so not good like 3 - 4 star not 5 star as hotel listed.
Check-in: first the receptionist took the ID card and kept it (who the hell does this in 21st century?) . When we were confused and asked if she can make a copy and return to us the IDs, she said we had to deposit VND500k. We were ok with that and said we could give her my credit card then she said it should be cash as the credit card would take 30 to 60 days to return the money. Other “modern” 4 or 5 star hotels only ask for credit card to reserve 1$ . I am quite sick of “5-star” hotel in Viet Nam treating every guest like a potential thieves. A bicycle rental shop would have done this better than this hotel with credit card. The receptionist didn’t mention at all about where /what time to have breakfast when we checked in. Another small thing but untrained front desk When I walked into the room, the aircon wasn’t on so it was smelly. The door card has to be stick to the wall otherwise no power (another 2 or 3 star hotel feature) so charging devices isn’t possible while you’re going out. I never encountered a 5-star hotel that didn’t provide an iron bar and an iron. This hotel did not only provide it in the room but also not provide it at all when you call the front desk to borrow. Basically you will have to pay to for the laundry and iron services. I didn’t even bother to ask them to do, not that the iron charge mattered much. Just so annoyed by “5-star” hotel with a service or facilities not any where near 2 or 3 -hotel. In general, just very sick with the service mentality of making a guest’s stay unpleasant and inconvenient as much as possible NEVER AGAIN.…
Unfortunately, this is the first time I have ever given a review with such a negative experience. I only write this review in hopes that the hotel looks at it as an opportunity to improve the safety and security of this property. 1. No Card Key security in elevators 2. Halls going to rooms are dark 3. Camera only on extreme ends of halls (who knows if they work) 4. Safe's in rooms are not bolted down and weigh less than 3lbs, easy to carry out 5. Room I was placed in was next to service elevator, no camera outside my room. If you are a foreign traveler, I would not recommend this property it is not fit at this time for travelers that want to have a feeling of safety and security.
All of the employees are so nice and very welcoming. Only stayed here for one night at this wonderful hotel, was very happy indeed with the price I paid for our stay, the room (twin, semi double bed) was spacious, the bathroom was a great size and the rain shower was big with hot water, the room had a TV with lots of channels (Asian and Western), hairdryer, safe deposit box, etc, we were on the 19th floor, so great views of Can Tho.
Spent 1 night here. Rooms large and spacious but dirty. Had to change rooms as it obviously was not cleaned. New room we were moved to was also dirty, but cleaner than the first. As it was only 1 night we completed our stay. Hallways wer dirty, no lights in the hallways. Not sure if they were saving power or what. The bed was very hard. King size with 2 small pillows. Bathroom tub was not cleaned, black dirty streaks all over it. Had the morning breakfast and it was so so. Basic have toast and eggs. Nothing else looked worth having. Juice was watered down. Would recommend staying elsewhere if 4 to 5 star hotel is required.
All of the employees are so nice and very welcoming. Hotel itself needs to have a better maintenance to be 5* luxury. We booked 5 rooms for 6 peoples and it didn’t meet our expectation as a 5*, about cleanliness of the facility.

The hotel lobby is huge with nice comfortable chairs, easy check in and check out with friendly staff throughout the hotel, there are 4 lifts in the hotel, which were quick to arrive. Breakfast area was big with plenty of tables and comfortable chairs, lots of food choices from Asian to Western and also an egg station where you could choose scrambled, omelette and fried eggs cooked to order, food was very delicious. The swimming pool was great, two spacious areas to swim in, one for adults and one for children, well signposted to show you the depth of the pool, there is a gym next to the pool with running machines and other gym equipment, and also inside the gym is a small play area for young children. There are also two tennis courts next to the swimming pool, but didn't use the gym or the tennis courts. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area, you can see the hotel from afar as its very tall, It's a nice pleasant, safe 10 minute walk to the centre, or you can take a taxi which will cost around 30,000VND, will definitely stay here again.…
I had great time at Muong Thanh in Can Tho. My family of 4 was in room with 3 queen size bed, with the great view of walking bridge in Ninh Kieu. Everyone was nice, great breakfast with lot of choices. I would definitely book Muong Thanh again when come back to Can Tho in 2020.
Wao this hotel was nice. A little bit far from the City center but it is so quite and fresh. I booked on traveloka with reasonable price and the room was perfect (level 19 in the corner, full view). The room was not big but comfortable. Welldone!
