The property is outdated and need some care, paint, fresh carpets and modernization. Staff was good and at your service. The room I have was with a view on a ground floor rooftop, but unfortunately was fill of trash just meters from my room . Bedroom and bathroom are basic, but I slept well. Very close by is a nice street food area with quite some nice activity.
Stayed here 2 nights. The hotel was on a riverside but far from the CBD and closed to nowhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room, however, was old, smelly, and noisy in the early morning when the housemaids were preparing for a new day. Breakfast was boring and cold to me.
The location was excellent near by the Ninh Kiều Whalf, so fresh and comfortable. At night, you can enjoy the night life with a lots of local food, local activities, night market...by walking! The staff was friendly and helpful!
The location is great but rooms were a bit daggy. Staff at reception try very hard to please and were helpful. Carpets in room needed steam cleaning. With that exception, room was very comfy. Lovely views from riverside rooms and reception area. As there are no restaurants nearby we decided to have dinner at hotel. Cocktails were very ordinary and meal even worse. We ordered chicken fired rice and it took them 1.5 hours to serve - considering we were the only guests having dinner at the hotel restaurant this was a bit strange. When it ultimately arrived, was stone cold and tasteless. It was fried rice with frozen mixed vegies which was the worst meal we had during our stay in Vietnam. Breakfast buffet was OK.
We did love our stay here, everything was great with the exception of 1 night when a poolside band made so much noise our doorframes on the 5th floor were vibrating, we think the power from the band blew our air con out for a couple of hours. The poolside gatherings are a regular feature at this hotel the other 4 nights were fine. I especially would like to thank Mr Tran Nam the Front Office Manager for his very fine service given to us during our stay he is highly recommended to see to any problem you may have. Food was excellent and apart from the 1 noisy night (ceases at 10pm) we would stay again.
Located at the end of a street, this hotel did well for us. The staff were all very friendly and kind, helping us with arranging a taxi to Ho Chi Minh. The breakfast options were excellent, and the location was interesting. It rained for most our stay, so we weren’t able to explore very much. This hotel has real character, though a bit worn in areas.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with 2 kids (10 and 5) The room was spacious with a king size bed. However decoration looks old that’s a shame. Staff does not speak well English too. We had a lunch at the river coffee and had the worst meal since we arrived in Vietnam - I do not recommend... Hotel has a nice location near the river however it is quite far from the center (2kms) and you just want to see something else ... you can find taxi anyway. There a night market nearby but we had rain every nights so cannot confirm if it is worth it. Breakfast really not tasty Floating market Guided tour NOT worth it (and hotel staff doesn’t speak English to give info !!)
It was a big room, old, not clean but beautiful river view. It was quite area, close to local night market. You can find many good and cheap local food here. The staff was nice. Breakfast was ok with nice view.
This hotel is in a peaceful setting on an old ferry dock by the river, away from the hustle of Can Tho's main wharf and near a small night market for food. My room was quiet with a comfy bed and a view over the barges and ferries gliding by, but was noisy on some nights if there was a party at the pool. I had a problem with the safe being stuck in the locked position and it took nearly an hour of different people fiddling with it until a working one was brought in to replace it. The bathroom has been recently renovated in a weird way, with the drain outside of the shower stall. This floods the bathroom floor every time you use it. There is no counter space or storage around the tiny sink mounted on a much larger wall. The breakfast buffet is popular with meat-loving local residents, but for a vegetarian there weren't many choices. The fresh local fruit was delicious and they finally figured out how to make a veggie omelette without mixing in ham. Not much English spoken outside of a few front desk people, so ordering anything -- even a beer which is a similar word in Vietnamese -- in the outdoor restaurant was a problem and the spa was just not doable -- men do the treatments for women and vice versa. They must have a problem with people stealing their stuff, as there are price lists posted for anything that might go missing, and warnings about prostitution (didn't see any such activity). The unused workout machines are located in what looks like some kind of meeting room with a fancy conference table. The staff was friendly and did their best, and for this bargain price I'm prepared to overlook a few rough spots in my one-week stay. You'll have a nice time here, but don't expect luxury. They try hard and are eager to improve.…
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in April, very good rooms ,clean and good sized . Hotel lounge very comfortable and large.Hotel staff were very polite and helpful, The front Office Manager (Hoang) spoke very good English and was very helpful in sorting me out with 2 rooms at a good price. The Restaurant was very clean and served a good variety of foods for break fast, and the staff were very efficient and polite. The swimming pool was very clean , but lacked privacy from the outside restaurant..suggest that Hotel puts some kind of screen to provide some privacy to swimmers and some changing room facilities. Nice views of river and quiet and relaxing area. I would recommend this Hotel to any one who would like to stay in Can Tho.
