This was a nightmare from start to finish and my travel companions still haven't forgiven me for ignoring the tripadvisor reviews. Check-in: Entrance is at the rear/side of building in a basement, which was already an omen. Reception/Staff: Don't speak English, our tour guide checked us in and it was only when we realised our safe was locked and we tried to contact them, that the issues of this and the implications became clear. Basically, we had to contact our Tour Guide and tell them what we needed, for her to contact Reception. Room: 'superior' bookings - Very large, like an old front room with hardly any furniture and shabby wall coverings. Bathroom huge with a feeling of emptiness. Dressing Gowns hanging in wardrobe looked like they hadn't been washed, all crumpled up. Bed covers all creased/sheets looked shabby and tbh this is not representative of a 4-Star hotel. Issues: Very loud neighbours with TV so loud we couldn't sleep - we couldn't get help from reception as they don't speak English. Our tour guide didn't answer as it was late in the evening/night and we had to contact our Tour Operator in Hanoi via whatsapp. The noise stopped and at 3.30 am started again - we had little to no sleep and were exhausted. Breakfast: Buffet simple but OK Location: Very good, right behind the street market.…
The Hotel is very clean and modern centrally located Nice pool area. Breakfast is adequate but not great average. Staff did not speak English but were polite. Our room had a view of the river and bridges. Hotel is close to great restaurants and the river.
The hotel is quite basic and can use some touch ups, and located amid the market area. The activity didn't bother me and I was not impacted by any disturbing noise. The bed was very comfortable and they offered a good variety for breakfast. There was a very helpful and nice bell boy in underground parking with good English, a good asset for the hotel for sure!.
We have to enter the hotel through the back entrance, as the front is located on a street that is "covered" by a huge street market. The reception staff was friendly, the check-in was fast. The elevator very slow (plan time or take the stairs). Otherwise the hotel was OK, the roof terrace very nice, but the pool very small (rather decoration). Rooms were big enough, clean and well equipped.
The hotel was in a hard to access location by our tour bus, so we had to be dropped far and struggle with our luggage to get to the hotel. Once we entered the hotel, the interior and the rooms were pleasant. Breakfast was so so, and the staff had very poor grasp of English Language. This was a specific hindrance as we are Vegetarian. Also, breakfast was not served on time agreed.
Is a decent hotel. Room condition good. The hotel entrance directly into the local market. People may or may not like it. Overall hotel staffs are nice and friendly. Just an incident happened in this morning. I intend to buy passion fruits and got the name in vietnamese from hotel for us ease to communicate with the market seller. Finally we bought from a lady. But the lady cheated me as another type of fruit given to me. A trainee in hotel (young and handsome boy) try to help us to get the back the money while we insist to return the stuff. But the lady refused. Okay fine, just be a lesson for us. We should choose and pick the item by ourself instead. By the way, we compliment hotel staff who is really helpful and provide good service to customers. Between, he can speak a little mandarin. This is the place I bought the fruits. Not recommended. …
Its very good location, clean, friendly staffs. Room is big with nice window view.its very good stay for your trip in Mekong Delta Vietnam❤️ I had a nice boat trip with local guide Mr Ninh at local travel agency. his Whatapp: +84 949 516 556.
When you step out of the hotel , you are directly in the market. Easy walk to the night market, tours and river walk. It is better to book tours just down the street, much cheaper.Plus the staff at the hotel is not the warmest , making your stay there very impersonal.May be it is this immense fancy lobby.Nice buffet breakfast.
We stayed here at the end of first day of a 2-day tour of the Delta. It’s a decent hotel with spacious rooms in a good location. Some people might not like the entrance directly into the local market, but we thought it added to the charm. Beds were comfortable; shower was great. Breakfast was extensive and well ordered. View from room over the mighty Mekong. Good base for touring.
We had a lovely room with river and city views. Small pool on the 8th floor was a good place to chill out. Hotel front door opens to the fascinating local market. Night market each evening is within 5 mins walking. Tours available at hotel but get same thing much cheaper at the riverside, 2/3 mins walk away. We got a 6 hour river tour in our own boat for less than a 4 hour, group tour advertised at hotel. Hotel arranged a scooter for us. Relatively easy to drive in Can Tho as the driving is slower and less intense compared to Saigon. Loved Can Tho. Only criticism of hotel was the lack of food and drinks during the day when we arrived.
