We stayed one night in the hotel. The shower doesn't have hot water. The air conditioner stops working every 20 minutes. Breakfast was horrible. Bread with two days. But the worse part was when we agreed to stay in the room for one extra hour with the reception lady and, suddenly, the manager calls the room shouting. I came down...

Hi We are very disappointed with your review. Firstly, the shower doesn't have hot water because our hotel are using solar water heating system. Therefore the water wasn't warm enough if you took a shower at midnight. Moreover, we let you take a shower in another room which have electric water heater. For breakfast, you finished your breakfast without complaining...

Clean room, good location next to the river, nice owner, staff friendly and helpful. We booked a Floating Market tour and a Food Tour, both were interesting and with a english speaking guide. Highly recommended

Arrived in Can Toh around 8am after our flight from Hoi an and taxi was about 180 thousand Vd which brought us to this simple and easy going hotel. The manager welcomed us and our room wasnot yet ready so we had breakfast and in about 15mins we accessed the room. (street view windows you can actually see the river)...

We stayed here for 1 night mainly to do the floating markets tour in the morning. The location is unbeatable (1 minute walk to the riverfront and 2 mins walk to the street food market). The staff at Kim Long were very helpful and not at all pushy once they heard we had opted for the boat tour with another...

We booked one week to explore the Can Tho Mekong area and were not dissapointed. Hotel was clean and staff responsive to requests. Mr. Trung, the main owner/manager personally makes sure everything goes well at the hotel and day trips through his tour company, Explore Mekong Tours. Great location to take the day trips - the pier is literally across...

Admittedly we got upgraded to a VIP room (as have other reviewers), so this may not be entirely representative. Anyway, terrific large room with balcony and view over Can Tho. Breakfast okay, staff friendly and helpful. Near to the river and all the restaurants. I thought it was a bargain. You could certainly do much worse.

This place was simply wonderful; most especially, considering the price! The hotel manager was extremely nice. At one point some folks checked into the hotel after having reserved a room. They had had some valuables stolen from their luggage whilst taking a local bus company to get to Can Tho! (FUTA is the bus company with which you always want...

This was my best stay in Vietnam. FIrst of all the owner Mr. Chung has been the kindest and most and all ways. I got my passports and belonging stolen, he spent most of his day helping me with filling and translating police report, and went out of his way to take me there, which took few hours. Also his...

This is a pretty basic hotel, but for the price, really can't complain. It's super close to the pier and there was also a night market about 5 min from the hotel when we got in. It was clean, had a stocked minibar, and friendly staff. They also helped us call a taxi to get to the bus station. Would...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An intimate, 2-star boutique hotel, Kim Long provides excellent service and overlooks Can Tho river and Ninh Kieu Quay. You can enjoy Vietnamese warmth and hospitality at its most charming.Established in December, 2012, the hotel itself is only a few months old so it’s spotless and has a modern design in rooms at a very reasonable price. Each room is different, but all are spotlessly clean, new furnishing with fast internet, an air-conditioning, a great fan on the ceiling, AC, a telephone and a fridge. Bathroom is clean with solar hot water heating and cold water from outlet. Owner and staff are unfailingly friendly, and helpful which makes your stay a real pleasure. Hotel also has a nice rooftop in which you can view the river and take pictures. On-site parking place is free. With Gony, spa, cafe, restaurant being just opposite hotel, serving reasonably price local and western food, Chinese and Vietnamese Temple, and Ho Chi Minh statue close by, the hotel is perfect for shopping, sightseeing and entertainment. Location wise you can’t beat this place. More importantly, it is right in the heart of Ninh Kieu harbor and a local ferry terminal. The river is 50 feet away and all the night action are also right there. The day and night markets where the groceries and fresh food stalls are also a minute walk from the hotel. Hop pho which is 10 min walk away serves good western coffee. It was a fairly quiet road which was another plus for hotel.Exploring Can Tho is easy with scooter rental, bike rental, boat rental and bus ticket services available. Noticeably, Kim Long is only a 20 minutes drive away from the new Can Tho Airport, which links the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city to the Mekong delta region and 10 minutes drive away from the bus station of Can Tho city, which makes it possible for you to move from place to other places easily. ... more   less
