Ordinary hotel, good location, situated at the edge of Old Town, opposite of the Ark of Bukhara, the massive fortress. Simple rooms with plain furniture, no-frills bathroom. The shower is just a hand shower mounted on the wall. Closet had only two hangers. But the aircon was working quietly. Thin curtains, so it gets light in the room very early...

This is a nice 3-star hotel in the middle of Bukhara. It's right next to the citadel ark and the historic old town. The rooms were comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast was fine but there aren't many restaurants nearby. Overall a pleasant stay.

The courtyard is the biggest selling point of the hotel, it was an inspiration for me. I hope one day to build a place which opens into a space like this. The room was a comfortable size, the hotel is nicely presented and it was a good place to stay. The bed was too hard and the sheets were an...

Even though we didn't stay at this hotel, I have to write a special mention to them. Whilst another hotel in town (known as the grand bukh...) tried to charge us with 10.000 som for a pic from its closed terrace (we had picked a taxi until that hotel to enjoy a drink at sunset but its terrace was closed...

Mostly clean rooms of extremely diverse quality. Some are huge and newly made, some are tiny and really trashed. Thus, avoid room no. 1, as that room is really old, ugly, destructed bathroom and has no window. The staff is not willing to change it to another room. Room 4 does also not have a window. Both 1 and 4...

Eight of us had 3 nights in the Caravan. One couple had to change room because the plumbing was completely stuffed. Most of us had bathrooms with toilets mounted on a high pedestal making it particularly tricky if needed at night. Breakfast was ordinary. The best points were its location near the Kalyan minaret, and also the central courtyard.

Some hundred meters from the main attractions is was a good place as a base exploring this fantastic city . We came here from Samarkand and this what we thought Samarkand would look like, a historical city with attractions everywhere and a athmosphere from the old time. Samarkand was the opposite , too much of the old buildings have been...

Perfect location for exploring all the wonderful sights of this ancient Silk Road city. We were 3 couples doing a 12 days' Silk Road tour and stayed two nights at the Caravan hotel. The rooms where not so big, but clean and the beds were good. Service was fine, and the breakfast buffet was quite sufficient. Great value for money...

Despite friendly staff members - all of them (too?) young - the place does not take advantage of its very good location. Average BF, tired rooms and beds, no hot water at times, some of the rooms had no curtain. And watch out: do avoid the use of the bathroom in the basement.

The room was nice and clean but the a/c was old and made a lot of noise. Some people may need earplugs while sleeping... They have wifi in the lobby but the network was slow and unstable. The signal is not strong enough so couldn't use the network from my room. One more thing, I had my stuff gone missing...
