If you must go to Sukothai (a review for another time), you would be hard-pressed to find a more tranquil hidden gem than Sabaidee. For a Guesthouse, this comes off as a 3-4 star hotels elsewhere; the rooms are spacious, have AC, are nicely appointed. What makes Sabaidee special though is the care in the flora landscaping surrounding the hotel....

I stayed here for 3 nights in October and absolutely loved it. When I arrived, the host immediately gave me a glass of water and a hand towel, which was very nice after the walk from the bus station! I had booked a standard room with a fan, one of several rooms in the house part of the property. They...

This hotel is just outside of the main new city and felt like a little oasis. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, making us feel very welcome. It really felt like you were in the jungle and away from it all, which was a great contrast from Bangkok where we had...

Beautiful hostel setting. Wooden cabins in mini jungle with ponds and pools. The man who owns/ runs this hostel is very welcoming and friendly. He speaks good English and even better French. (We were the only English at the hostel everyone else was French) -- no beef just vibes. We booked the cheapest room, double bed in a cabin with...

Nice place, the room is so fabulous; we have spend only a night there but wish to go back there again. Comfotable room with full accommodation, the bathroom is also nice, the owner is very generous, she has provided us with the good place to eat and good place for rent a bicycle :)

The staff is really welcoming and called a tuk tuk to look for me at the bus station at 10pm without I ask anything. Then I arrived in a cosy guest house with nices rooms, really clean and there's also a swimming pool if you want to chill...

We enjoyed the nice common area with pool, awesome juices and a good breakfast. Rooms for different prices - we had one of the cheapest. Basic but very neat. An extra plus are the nice owners and the new pool in the backside! Good information also provided on transport and sights.

The only thing this place has going for it is decent food. These people are extremely difficult to deal with. They do not speak English. They let themselves into the room to refill toilet paper, take out trash, and give more water. This is a kind gesture yet they should let you know that that have such services, I wouldn't...
