My first impression about the hotel was not great. The whole place, the reception area, the cottages and the restaurant have seen their better days. And when they said we had to pay for the wi-fi I wasn't really impressed. I asked them if I could buy a pre-paid sim card with internet data but I could not get much...

We did not visit Phuket at all but instead stayed around the Phang Nga region throughout. Didnt really see any other pple when we were there. It was like just 2 of us on the entire...

My wife and I spent a week at Bor Saen Villa, and were impressed with the very friendly staff who were always willing to assist even though their English was often quite limited. We ate at the onsite restaurant a few nights, and really enjoyed the Thai meals, which were quite reasonably priced, especially compared with restaurant prices in the...

I was woried after reading reviews of staff not understanding English - not once did we encounter a problem - ring front desk if problem and they will organise . It is isolated you can not just walk out and go to the shops After good advice on trip...

Beautiful setting with views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Private pool and villa was very relaxing and romantic. Staff are very helpful but difficult to understand. A la carte menu is much better to dine from than the buffet. Some delicious Thai food on the menu! This is a place to totally unwind - go for walks around the...

“We were in rooms 2201/2202, probably the furthest from the lobby, had to walk over three bridge to cross the lake, took us about 6 minutes on foot, but the scenery is so lovely that it wasn't a problem. You can't park your car outside your villa, you have to leave it in the parking by the lobby, so coming home late in the evenings, when the little one was tired, was a bit of a pain!”
