The pictures of the Pai Circus School Hostel look great, but don't be fooled. Booked a private room for 4 nights - barely made it through 1. Rooms were disgusting and smelled like mold. The mattress was dirty and definitely had bed bugs at one point (there are pictures of the dirt). The bathrooms were falling apart. I didn't even...

Unfortunately after staying at Pai Circus for 3 days we had to move on due to price and the state of the room we were put in. We paid 700 baht a night for a bland cement room (which stank of mould) with a bed that was hard as a rock, a yuck "ensuite" toilet that stopped flushing and a...

My friends booked this spot and I have to say the whole burner vibe wasn't really my thing, but if it is yours then you'll love this spot. The owner and a staff member also made some calls on my behalf to help me get a motorbike back to Chaing Mai for a reasonable price. Hugely above and beyond on...

We stayed here for around a week and the atmosphere is great if you're in a young crowd. Everyone is really friendly and it is great for socialising with good party vibes. Nice pool with amazing views! The only downside is the beds which are very hard. We moved after a week because of this and spent our days here.

Nice place to stay if you are looking for a chill vibe. Lots of young backpacking smokers and 'shake' drinkers. Good view and bar/pool area. Its a circus... people are juggling, hoolahooping and practicing yoga

This hostel is amazing. We've been to two other hotels in Pai which weren't as good but this one made our stay in Pai awesome. Something to do every evening but a relaxed atmosphere as well. Good dorms but I'd recommend the bungalows there.

Not really a great place, absolutely overpriced for what you get: you can see through your bungalow wooden floor, it's basically an invite for bugs to come in; the showers are dirty and if you use the toilet in the evening you would probably be attacked by some insects. The only nice thing is the view from the pool, but...

Heard about this place from some friends and it exceeded all expectations and I ended up extending my stay. It's a bit further out from some of the other hostels but I actually quite liked that about it as it gave me more incentive to stay at the hostel and practice new circus skills. The staff are friendly and the...
