Samatha is really a beautiful hostel to stay in, even though not in centre of Sairee, it is quite easy and quick to walk to the centre and above all, it's not noisy so you won't hear the traffic sound all day long :)
As others have said, at first glance this place looks quite cute, however; there definitely could be some improvements to make it more comfortable.

absolutly the best coffee in the island, with thai pillows nice chill music and no people. The staf and Madison, the manager, are really kind and friendly. I found in there my little quite place to read in the mornings. Miss that place honestly jaj
I only eat there, but the atmosphere is amazing. They played chilled musik & the coffee and food was amazing. I will definitely book a room there on my next trip !

It's pretty easy to get to. All ferries arrive at Mae Haad pier on Koh Tao, there were lots of taxis waiting so we jumped in one and it was about 10 mins to the B&B. On the way back the hotel booked a taxi for us (which was cheaper than what we had paid on the way there!)
It's really close to the beach, just a few minutes walk. Same for restaurants and bars etc
It's set a bit away from the main strip at Sairee beach so it was quiet at night, unless you have noisy guests in the room next door! There was a bit of noise first thing in the morning from the bike place opposite.
Hope this helps!
